Wasn't working for me either. I'm getting tired of this... If I could see tangible results from the downtime it wouldn't feel like this game is becoming a waste of my money. I will give credit for them fixing broken quests but the bots, spammers, and in-game mail spammers are still running rampant. I am almost 99% sure the only reason why I haven't seen any chat spam since the other night is because I took the plunge and downloaded two anti-spam add-ons by third party authors. If they can manage to thwart the spammers why are these people not contacted, employed or paid to include this natively into the game?
Just a bit frustrated this week by the royal patch communication mess up. Last night I tried to log-on but read in the forums that downtime was imminent due to a big shiny patch, today I look and realise that I wasted an entire night because the patch didn't even get installed... no... that little surprise was for when I wanted to log on and (gosh darn it) play this evening. Once again I waited hours to play only to find the lag making it a waste of time as I was merely seeing a scene of me getting slaughtered by two mobs
I am hoping by the time I get some sleep I might actually be able to play some time today because lo-and-behold tomorrow more downtime is scheduled.
