Fixed an issue with the Mac client that would occasionally cause crashes or performance issues.
Fixed an issue that would cause your screen to occasionally freeze and cause unwarranted CPU usage.

Just letting you know since patching I am still having the random freezing happening and im running moderately low settings. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I'm in the first Vet zone for Ebonheart Pact on NA.

GreasedLizard✭✭✭Same here. Increasing eso.exe priority to High in Task Manager does fix it for me. And run the exe not the launcher, so you don't forget to close it

phermitgb✭✭✭✭✭may also be having this problem - was definitely having this problem until recently (last half hour or so) - but did a blanket of "fixes" recommended in the general faq, and it *seems* to have ceased (at least, no hitches in 20 minutes or so of gameplay in wayrest)

turned prevented the auto-loading of evga precision (gpu monitoring software)
I turned off steam (logged out entirely)
I set ESO to run off of administrator priveleges (I never spell that word right -not ever)
I set ESO in nvidia manager to use maximum power settings
I deleted the somethingsomething cache in the user settings doc, which is presumably re-loaded by the launcher when started in administrator privilege mode (did I spell it right that time?)
now, I did *ALL* of these, and didn't get a hitch for at least 20 minutes - but I have yet to test long term - I'll update if I get more info - but I *think* that the various faq recommendations COULD work
still, it'd be even nicer if they actually fixed the bug - I dunno what they *think* they fixed, but it clearly hasn't worked for everyone yet..."There is no correct resolution; It's a test of character."
