Questions about group dungeons

Hi

I am getting a bit uncertain about a few things when it comes to group dungeons.

In the lower levels I newer knew I could do all group dungeons in all realms, so I have a few I have not done. My char is now level 49, and we did a group dungeon storm peak mountain or something last night, I am horrible at remembering names. One you go higher and higher on a mountain, storm peak or something.

Well anyway, we got no quest in the dungeon. We got some credit for doing the dungeon, but no skill point, and the dungeon is still black on my map. Yes we killed all the 3 bosses, got a complete for that, but as I said still black and no skill point.

Arent we supposed to get skill point for completing group dungeons? Why is this one still black? Why no quest? Am I doomed to never be able to complete the low level dungeons because I didnt know I could and had to do them at low levels?

Any info would be welcome!

i am interested in a definate answer, as been caught out once on been unable to enter a level 30 dungeon through grouping tools as i had overlevelled while exploring the map, i was 3 levels over and had to manually form a party with a VR3 Tank a 24 Healer and a 32 DPS, we all managed to still pick up the quest and get a completion, including the VR3 Tank, i don't know if it depends on how much overlevel you are or if you need an appropriate levelled character in party to be able to initiate the quests.
