Are they bots

I started a new character this morning and there were chars running around me at super speed. They all looked identical, am i really slow, or are they bots.

Humor

Most likely bots, running around the "Noob" zones killing anything in site in order to break down materials, and or sell the items, thus using it as profit in the future.

Or at least, that's what I'd figure, personally, I could care less about those bots, it's the "Node Jumpers" that aggravate me, especially the one's hopping from Runestone-Runestone.

Yup, l they're bots. Some may be using Sprint when it comes off cooldown but I've seen some moving at speeds way above what Sprint allows you to do.

Seems to me that ZOS must have found a way to prevent at least some tele-botting so the bots are now more like traditional 'pathing' bots which follow a preset route.

Some are running at normal speed, while others like those you're referring to seem to be trying to see what speed they can run at while staying below whatever radar ZOS may have implemented to detect the tele-bots.

I saw a few people thanking Zenimax a couple of days ago. Thanking them for cutting down on the number of spammers, bots and farmers.

I haven't seen a decrease ... to be honest, i'm seeing more ... a lot more.

I stuck a couple of screenshots in another thread of dungeons I was in with bot boss farmers.

The patch that was supposed to go up yesterday, that's getting deployed today, puts a cooldown on how often you can get loot from those bosses. It wont be worth it to farm them soon, even with bots.
