It is a PVP area, not a place to run around and enjoy the views, even if those are amazing. Less wildlife has its own reasons, and it is on purpose, as players here are NOT to fight NPCs. You have all other regions in Tamriel to find NPCs to fight.
And saying ''I don't care if they need to tone down the absurd 200 Vs 200 battles, this is ridiculous.'' just shows you are another pve player which want every area for himself, without even thinking what others want.
Cyrodiil is great as it is, dont like it, just dont enter it. Or do, and be ready to get killed any second.

Actually there is a big PvE aspect to Cyrodiil. You can PvE there to your heart's content, if you want to. There's just the added danger of bumping in to someone who wants to kill you. There are dungeons, you know?

To the original poster who was quoted by Mortuum: Cyrodiil is a warzone. A lot of wildlife doesn't tend to stick around when it's likely to get its head blown off.

Look for the big mountain you can climb, and kill the giant at the top. Then head over to the ruined cathedral...it's beautiful.

On this very day my main has quests to pick herbs for a chef and pick something else for someone else...I forget what. There is definitely PvE in Cyrodiil.

Advice:if you want to experience Cyrodill PVE, pick low populated campaign, chances of meeting other players/enemy faction players are really low, close to 0. If you are, by any chance, EU player and part of Daggerfall Convent, i recommend Hopesfire campaign. Map is always blue, and theres no EP/AD at all.

Yep, really good advice. Hopesfire is almost dead these days and you can travel about much easier. Just watch out for gankers. Keep moving as much as possible and get magelight. Travelling in a small group is recommended if you want to PvE in Cyrodiil...even a pair.

If you think there's people about stealth through an area...and put those pets away.

Be prepared for a fight, but it's a nice added danger is PvEing in a contested area. You might even get a gank yourself.

@Mortuum Your English is fine. No worries from me. My own post might have been more aggressive than I meant it to be, hehe. B)

There is tons of content other then PvP in Cyrodil, you just have to explore
So, can you go to this zone and NOT be involved in PVP and not be attackable by PCs?
No, you can not go to Cyrodiil and turn off PVP...it is the PVP zone, there is pve stuff you can do, but you are still liable to be attacked by players in opposing factions, these are also great areas to stalk other players to gank XD
Yup, that's what I feared .. great PVE content unavailable to those that would appreciate it due to players such as you who don't give a rat's ass for it I doubt.

    Or bring friends?

I tried it once on a guest campaign thingy.

The scenery is gorgeous. But it is DEAD. And... EMPTY. Aside from keep battles[which I could not for the life of me, figure out or locate] the exploration and travel is dead.

Things got interesting when I finally found some action and came across a size-able Giant camp. Got intense with my two other friends taking them on and surviving. But after that exhilarating battle... it went back to being empty for another 10 minutes before finding a small pack of wolves... a mile later...

I don't care if they need to tone down the absurd 200 Vs 200 battles, this is ridiculous. Exploring Cyrodiil as of now, is a massive snooze-fest. It needs to have wild-life.

And where are the Minotaurs? Cyrodiil is practically their homeland. In-fact, it's their place of origin if you take the Songs of Pelinal into account.

Umm it isn't supposed to be over flowing with mobs. It's a pvp zone.

I don't want my group to stealth halfway across the map so we can cut of a reinforce by line only to be discovered because a spawn of man eating mud crabs pops on us.

pvp under 30 can be a challenge, almost not worth it unless you are in an organized group.

pvp 30-40 you can pick off the under 30 crew but veterans will shred you.

40 without veterancy is fun until a veteran decapitates you and 5 of your friends in record time

40 with veterancy is when you get to be the one doing the decapitating.

Once everyone understands and accepts this, their will be no more tears and no more bolt escape and ultimate nerf threads.

PVP was a hell of allot more fun before so many people leveled up to the V ranks. Now if your below 50 you pretty much get 1-2 shotted over and over. If you are luck you will find a zerg and get a hit in here or there (range is a MUST) and earn a few points.
Regrettably the comparisons everyone made between this games pvp and DAoC is proving more true than I would have hoped. Meaning at first it was like vanilla DAoC, you stood as good a chance as the next guy of winning if you were good enough. Now we have hit the "Trials of Atlantis" stage where anyone that has the free time to hardcore grind levels and pvp daily will quickly outclass even the most skilled player due to level and gear alone. Go out and watch some pvp streams, the majority of veteran ranked players steamroll 'lowbie biscuits' without really even slowing down on their way to bigger battles. Seeing one guy trash an entire group using 2 abilities while joking on vent with his buddy was when I gave up. Now I just run a healer toon and try to help out the 'real' pvpers.
Concentrate on leveling for the next couple months I guess then try again :)

I dont have a problem with players who have gotten to vr10 and have the right gear/build, crushing people who havent. Im actually looking forward to vr10 so i can kill large amounts of under 30 players in pvp. Someone has to lose in pvp, and i say it should be the ones who dont have the level or the gear. And as far as skill goes....get some level gaining skills.

It's not an award, you didn't discover the cure for cancer, you managed to have enough free time in modern life to spend dozens of hours doing the same thing uninterrupted....way harder.
I wish they phased it like the did the veteran content for PVE, where noobs were running around a different map for a more balanced fight. Don't worry though, that would reduce the size of the big battles they enjoy showing off so it is never going to happen. What it will do is eventually frustrate enough people away from pvp that it will end up being just the same 100 or so people killing each other, much like happened in DAoC and WoW.
Then again the zerging can be enjoyable so who knows, it might end up being awesome.
