11. In combat, I'm looking at the enemy, the environment, my group members and/or my character to get information instead of a bunch of bars and floating numbers. Some of those other games, you wonder why they even bother creating the world at all.

@Melian I absolutely love your list, but this one here is my favorite.
There's something really amazing about how invisible the overall UI is while I'm just wandering around. My screen isn't a jumble of portraits, icons, actionbars, minimaps, floating numbers, buff/debuff icons, or really anything else.
The transparency of the UI is simply amazing. Even in combat, like you said, I'm paying attention to everything around me, rather than just a stack of health bars.
I wish I could "Awesome" your comment a hundred times!!
I'm always struck by how many of the negative comments are really general and vague. The only specific complaints I hear seem to be about bugs (many of them already fixed) or because people want a UI more like WoW's.
20 things I really like about this game, in no particular order:

I felt I had to make some post from players who actually enjoy the hell out of ESO.
Most posts on these forums seams to be negative about this and that.
Please people who enjoy the game like I do, reply or rate this post!
I do not think the whiners who seams to be the majority here IS the majority of players. I believe most players like the game so much, the don't have time to go here!

The bulk of the players who enjoy the game are playing it rather than reading/posting on the forums, so it's easy to get a negative feeling from the community in the forums because many of them are here because they're upset or frustrated about some aspect of the game.
It's nice to see people trying to be positive, so please, keep it up!

Well, to answer that question; Because that's what trolls do.
I came from SWTOR, and as a huge Star Wars fangirl, I wanted that game to be everything that I hoped it could be. The thing that killed SWTOR for me was how it turned into one giant cartel coin marketplace. The entire game seemed to revolve around buying things off the cartel market, posting them for sale in-game, buying out items in-game, relisting those for sale in-game, rinse and repeat.
It got so bad that I ended up seeing the most ridiculous things, like horrible-looking mounts/speeders, selling for upwards of 75 million credits. That game's economy had a complete meltdown.
That game should be renamed Shop Wars: The Galactic Marketplace.
Not to mention that people (myself included) are much more likely to respond or open a new post if they want to complain, than if they want to appreciate something. Same in IRL. Human nature.
I love ESO too, but I don't see one feature in it that makes it remotely a 'new type of game'.Eso is an awesome new type of game!

Sure, it isn't a blatant WOW-ripoff like Rift or LOTRO, but I see no 'new type' of game here. In some ways it's like GW2 with a very simplistic gameplay (5+1 skills doesn't make for a great deal of variation in how you tackle fights).
Care to explain what is so 'new'?
