BUG PTS 1.1: In the patchnotes themselves! + some DK feedback

Nevril
Nevril
Light Armor
Annulment: This Ultimate ability’s damage shield now absorbs 100% of incoming Spell Damage rather than 50%. This damage shield value remains the same.

But the ability is NOT an Ultimate, is an Active Skill! I hope the change isn't intended as Ultimate, otherwise it is a huge improvement.

On a second note I'd like to signal a couple of issues with DKs abilities and current changes:
- Inferno is broken in the concept itself. It should be nice PBAoE Over Time damage skill, but it actually puts your magicka regen to 0 when active and costs over time. I know it has to cost given the potential but this way it breaks every build which has even a single item that boosts magicka regen, or every player that uses drinks to increase it.
I understand it can be used in a full-stamina spec with Crit morph or paired with some (very few) magicka skills in the case of the Magicka recover morph, but still I think that it closes a huge amount of possibilities the way it is.
- Inhale and morphs after 1.1. Why absorbs from 3 targets max? I really don't get it. It was a good skill with quite balanced damage, active after 2.5 second as a penalty. With 3 targets my toon can heal at most for 243 points (VR2, Magicka 1461) which is a couple light attacks from mobs, not even enough to survive that 2.5 seconds in which you do the damage. I think this choice should be reconsidered and put in line with other AoE skills (max 6 is probably quite fair but I won't enter the discussion here) or the health absorbed should be boosted, but in the latter case probably it will make skill concept different.
- Dark Talons & Coo. This is based on what I eard from my friends because, if it was for me I would leave it as is, but many say they are getting AoE killed by DKs who simply charge, permablock and spam DT. Maybe the dealt damage is a little too high? I don't know, I've tried that tactic but I found it not so unbalanced as they said, viable and effective (& boring!) for sure, but not so unbalanced.

I may go on with unbalancing issues and feedback on other classes too, but as I've done for my own preferred class, I'd like to leave the word to other people instead of whine about how much another class is way too powerful or crappy with respect to mine. I prefere to talk about what I know and actually experimented.

Sorry if I made some mistake, I'm not english mother-tongue.

I agree with you on those points. I think they need to boost the health gained on inhale or increase the targets as limiting that to three is short sighted, but I think they are going to be watching all AOE skill changes closely and tweaking. My suggestion is pop onto the PTS and work on getting them as much Data as possible before the changes go live so they can either take out that change until further testing is done (most likely possibility due to time constraints) or they come up with a replacement if they have the time to code or have a plan b waiting in the wings.

I know they have a timeline they have to work with so most of these changes are probably going to be pushed to live whether we like them or not it just depends on whether enough people can get into the PTS to test them and give them their honest feedback. So my suggestion is if you don't like something in the test notes, get your butt over to the PTS realm and get them tested cause the more data ZOS has the more likelihood they can see what is working and what needs more testing than the time they have alotted to them.

Normal people don't have access to the PTS unless they have been invited already pre-launch. I would love to check this stuff out but as it stands now, I can't, only selected few "elite" (including some famous guilds) can do that.

Hmm....well cross your fingers and hope everyone actually does their part and gets as much testing done as possible in the short window we have available as by my estimate we are most likely two weeks from an official launch of craglorn so hopefully ZOS gets the data they need to figure out what to keep and what to hold off on.

I'd like to go on the PTS but
    1. I haven't been invited during beta so I'm not sure if my account is enabled
    2. I will have big issues with my SSD, I actually don't know how to free enough space for another installation. I'm a Dev too (not gaming) so some programs (quite heavy programs) must stay in the SSD. I could free something but for when I finish the patch will probably be live :)

have you tried putting the PTS on a separate drive granted if I remember right that did cause issues for one individual but he didn't create a TESO file for the game as he thought it would do it automatically and it messed up that drive (wasn't pretty).
