Light Armor
Annulment: This Ultimate ability’s damage shield now absorbs 100% of incoming Spell Damage rather than 50%. This damage shield value remains the same.
But the ability is NOT an Ultimate, is an Active Skill! I hope the change isn't intended as Ultimate, otherwise it is a huge improvement.
On a second note I'd like to signal a couple of issues with DKs abilities and current changes:
- Inferno is broken in the concept itself. It should be nice PBAoE Over Time damage skill, but it actually puts your magicka regen to 0 when active and costs over time. I know it has to cost given the potential but this way it breaks every build which has even a single item that boosts magicka regen, or every player that uses drinks to increase it.
I understand it can be used in a full-stamina spec with Crit morph or paired with some (very few) magicka skills in the case of the Magicka recover morph, but still I think that it closes a huge amount of possibilities the way it is.
- Inhale and morphs after 1.1. Why absorbs from 3 targets max? I really don't get it. It was a good skill with quite balanced damage, active after 2.5 second as a penalty. With 3 targets my toon can heal at most for 243 points (VR2, Magicka 1461) which is a couple light attacks from mobs, not even enough to survive that 2.5 seconds in which you do the damage. I think this choice should be reconsidered and put in line with other AoE skills (max 6 is probably quite fair but I won't enter the discussion here) or the health absorbed should be boosted, but in the latter case probably it will make skill concept different.
- Dark Talons & Coo. This is based on what I eard from my friends because, if it was for me I would leave it as is, but many say they are getting AoE killed by DKs who simply charge, permablock and spam DT. Maybe the dealt damage is a little too high? I don't know, I've tried that tactic but I found it not so unbalanced as they said, viable and effective (& boring!) for sure, but not so unbalanced.
I may go on with unbalancing issues and feedback on other classes too, but as I've done for my own preferred class, I'd like to leave the word to other people instead of whine about how much another class is way too powerful or crappy with respect to mine. I prefere to talk about what I know and actually experimented.
Sorry if I made some mistake, I'm not english mother-tongue.
