Can log into EU but not NA

I live in NA, select a character at character select get loading screen, then get booted with unknown error.

So loaded the EU client and get right in after selecting character

Maintenance was being done this morning.

This was after maintenance support says the NA serve is up. I just find it truely amazing I cant get a character to load on the NA server
