Botters and spammers are ruining my gameplay

As with many other players, I picked up ESO due to being a huge fan of the single player games, as well as playing in the beta.

Since the early access there has been a huge issue with spammers and botters. Every zone has bots spam filling the chat screen with their advertisements, block one and another appears. After 2 days of playing my ignore list was full. I closed my chat because of this, and my game play has been affected.

I've continued to play, in hopes that the dungeons would be better. "w00t" I said to myself as I found one of the public dungeons and entered, ready to fight whatever was inside.

What I found inside was several bots repeatedly killing the mobs inside, ruining the experience once again.

I signed up to the game to enjoy it, to adventure in Tamriel, to meet new people and go on adventures. I work very hard in the military and my personal time is often limited due to work or family obligations.

My whole gaming experience has been bent over and kicked squarely in the ass. I haven't enjoyed a single moment since Beta closed. I check my mail daily in game only to find spam mailers clogging up that space.

I am not complaining about the current state of the game regarding server issues and game bugs, I'm 100% aware that a new game will have problems and accept that.

Is there someone I can talk to regarding a refund? The game feels like a torrent site with pop ups and spam all over the place. It's disgusting, and these botters and gold sellers have demolished any fun I've tried to have.

I'm sure that when I accepted the ToS / EULA that it didn't say my in game experience would be ruined by spam, bots, and more spam. There is no immersion in the game at all.

well maybe the state of the game post in the news forum may give you some hope, or if its too late just put in a help ticket asking for a refund and they MAY. I dont know thier policies on what refunds are given out. I know some people have gotten refunds but no guarantees on how and why.

Go to harvest as a crafter, nothing but bots scripts all over any area you go some teleport invisible, some run circles from node to node, ignore that will ya!
Go to a dungeon sneak in thinking you may get a challenge fight coming up, but no what is there a full dungeon of "tgflksgt" names botting around killing everything,
Ignore that won't ya!

I was in a few different dungeons and no bots at all around the boss. Able to kill all of them multiple times.
Bot farming nods, have not seen any and have no problem getting my mats. Spent 2 hours filling my bags going around harvesting.

Wow, either you're full of ***, or you have amazing luck! I have been in exactly one dungeon in the last week that didn't have a stack of 10+ bots. Not only are the bots camping the bosses, but they've started to take over entire dungeons.

Not full of S and no reason too lie about it and not luck either. ZOS has been working hard to get rid of the bots. I went to all the dungeons in Deshan and not a single bot today.

I have seen bots in dungeons camping bosses ( and not allowing me to get the quest update or loot), trains of bots running well defined paths through open world zones, teleporting bots going from node to node and teleporting bots looting in houses or completing quests with quest npcs. It is nonsense for anyone to deny this.

I love this game and think it is the best game I have played in years BUT this plague of bots and Zenimax's apparent inability to deal with this is extremely detrimental to the game.

I would love to see this dealt with but feel strongly that even in a months time we will still be subjected to the same issue with Zenimax stating they are dealing with it ...

Still more of the same, how exciting to see 15 lines of my chat taken up with gold sellers.

Le sigh.

Going to put in a help ticket to see what happens. Feels like I'm playing in a advertisement.
