well only time will tell how long that fair-tale lasts. hopefully it does, but in what form remains to be seen. i know it's early in the games life, one of the reasons i do take these reviews with a grain of salt, wanted to post this just to throw it out there but there are things going on here that really shouldn't be.

apparently these must be the very first video game forum you've ever viewed, welcome to the internet.
having faith in your fellow man probably isn't the first stupid thing you've done, i mean no need to insult or get all butt-hurt because you're seeing a lot of people echoing the same sentiments. I guess i had faith that people would read the line where i said i do like the game, but they just see a video then get all upset over nothing important.
If double posts on a forum ruin your day, i don't know, send a resume, become a mod and get your own sense of 'superiority' and hand our ban hammers to your hearts content.
maybe you should stop to realize that people are echoing these sentiments, because like you they wanted the game to be much better than it is. but hey, just keep focusing on the small things and not trying to talk about how to make things better, or open a dialogue, keep bein' angry
@ dag, right, it's funny satire...but people get all hurt at that, also, please actually read what I wrote, i do say that I actually like the game. but people like drakken just see a video, get all bent out of shape because they've seen it before, but don't actually read the text people write.

Shouldn't be going on... in your opinion. In your opinion they shouldn't be going on, in my opinion everything that is going on should be going just as it's currently going on.
Which brings us back to square one. If you don't like the game, don't play the game. Just because you don't like the game doesn't mean it's broken and should be fixed, it just means you need to find something you like.

not baiting man, or didn't mean to if that's how people are taking it.... i like the game, but are you telling me that it doesn't have some of the issues spoken about in all these videos?
I watched another node disappear in front of me to an inviso-farmer last night, seen the same nonsense at bosses, trying go through the game with broken quest lines, some of them main ones, grouping / phasing...it makes things incredibly hard when you want to enjoy the game, and some of those voice overs...jeez they were obviously done way before they had any idea of what kind of 'sprite' they'd be applied to.
'truth' well, maybe that was the wrong word to use let's agree to call it a 'half truth' 'opinion' 'ideology', since there is just as much good / working in the game as bad / not working.Not my first, been doing this rodeo for 20yrs. You get tired of the stupidity after awhile
then you should really be quite used to it by now...especially if you play battlefield!
I DON'T want a WoW clone here, i love how they stayed as true to ESO as they could given the MMO world it's set in, but there are some small 'standard' things that they should do and this game will freaking be even more gooder than it has the potential to be.

mutharex✭✭✭✭✭Sorry, half of the things they whine about are actually FEATURES I love about the game (especially because they should keep away wowkiddies and 'hardcore mmo players'), the others are exaggerated or due to the reviewer stupidity and don't affect me.
I also fail to understand why people of young age believe that these kind of crusades to 'improve' the game have to be based on insulting (the devs or whoever disagrees), shouting, stomping and in general acting like 4 years old. It's saddening. I wish I could see all of you in real life trying to act like this, just to enjoy observing the Real Life consequences of acting like a prat

I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -
roflcopter✭✭✭Why anyone would listen to these kind of reviews baffles me, no one can make up my mind for me on what I like to do / eat / play. Lets take Francis for instance. I am sure there are huge differences between what I like to eat vs. what Francis likes to eat. So why should I agree with him on how he views a game I enjoy playing.
Same goes with Angry Joe and this dude.

✭Love and hate can blind people , that is something most know , but because we all become blind , we cant really see that in ourselves , only in others.
People here are an example of this , they know tons of people will check the reviews , metacritic score and so on , before they buy or not this game , each negative review hits the game and probably will cost it money in the long run.
Yet people speak like everyone would just make their own minds before they buy it.
