Colour change option for armour would be nice

ZOS... I am currently fuming with you guys about your method of armour looks / colour.
I had great looking armour, in the style I liked and all was good. Then it was time to level up and make some new gear.
Now understand this wasn't a step up in material type, I was still using the same metal. Anyway... I craft the new armour, put it on and OMG.. now I look like a *** power ranger. IT'S HORRIBLE !
I went from evil looking badass to bling bling looking idiot.
How can you possible change a colour style in the middle of the same skill/trait level gear !
Give us some way to choose / stay with a colour scheme we have learned to use !
