I don't know what is difficult in repairing this quest ... Just change the mob spawn location ... And if it really doesn't work then just take the southern ritual point out of the equation ... Leave the quest with just two ritual sites to clean. Or change the objective requirement with something like " Cleanse two ritual points out of three" ...

For me the mob did jump out, but after killing it shaza stops channeling

I cannot finish either. The southern gate is where I cannot finish. She starts for a second and then stops. No mob comes at all. She just stops

@ivy I have spent hours in that exact spot, I have got the mob out of the wall and killed it, one of two things then happen........

I:- Shazah stops channelling...

or

2:-She continues to channel but no more mobs appear.

Yeah, killing the mob doesn't give credit.

I've exhausted all other things for me to do on my character and have no reason to log in anymore.

You could have manually progressed players through this stage of the quest in the mean time but you chose not to wait for a patch that didn't even work.

I have the same bug, tried all the things above and the last patch didnt change any of it. I guess we'll just have to wait

The best I've managed it to take one MOB out; I've never managed to damage the MOB stuck in the wall but it might be worth another try.

Even when you manage to kill the mob in the wall, you still don't get credit.

Are you guys incapable of physically advancing these quests? Every other MMO I have ever played has had GMs with the capability of advancing quests.

I haven't been able to play my character in days. My tickets came back with responses that essentially said "this will be fixed in a few days, so just wait until then."

I cannot access the zones equal to my character's level, and I cannot get XP from the zones I do have access to due to the current XP/VP bugs. This is completely unacceptable.

After dropping the quest and reacquiring it, I was able to complete the quest...that being said.

The NPC still gets stuck in the wall, but Shazah will continue to cleanse until all the NPC spawns have been defeated...including the one stuck in the wall. I was lucky and the NPC that was stuck was a dual-wielding mob and eventually leaped out, allowing me to kill it and progress the quest.

Also, I've noticed that summoned clannfears can attack the NPC through the wall regardless of the mob type.

My suggestion, if you can use the clannfear, you should be ok. If not, you may have to reset Shazah by running away from the location and returning until the dual-wielding mob spawns there. In that case, just give it time, he will eventually jump out of the wall if you stand close to it.

How disappointing .....

This character cannot use a Clanny and my luck at getting the mob out of the wall has been sketchy at best......

Please fix this quest asap ZOS

Well just got up, downloaded patch, went straight to the Southern Site........

YAY!!

It worked perfectly, no mobs got stuck and Kazah sealed the rift........

Have finally turned this quest in......

I was able to complete this quest as well. I only saw one enemy on the first wave, it didn't look like the guy who gets stuck spawned at all.

Glad to hear that you all are making it past this step now! Please let us know if this quest is still bugged for anyone now that we've pushed 1.5.4 to both megaservers.

I tried again but a mob got stuck in the wall, despawned, then she was stuck channeling. Then I alt-tabbed for a bit to check these forums, new waves spawned, and I got killed. HOWEVER, I tried again after I got back up and cleared it in less than a minute. So stoked to finally play this game right since Halloween. Thanks for patching this.

By standing over in the corner where the mob gets stuck I was able to get through the quest. So it's 'kinda' working, but still a bit wonky.

BTW, this is still happening. I've reset the quest several times and now I'm going to try the southern location first. Wish me luck as this quest is stopping me from progressing to Coldharbour.

Doing the southern location first seemed to do the trick.

Got stuck for me too, one enemy repeatedly spawned inside a rock at the southern location. After several resets I ended up doing the other 2 locations first and southern last. I also approached and stood behind the archway instead of in front of it. Nobody spawned inside the rocks that time, but I'm not sure which of the things I did differently actually helped (or if it was just dumb luck).

Since problem is still here i must reply. I found solution and a reason why this is happening.

SOLUTION and why is that happening.
The problem is not in quest it self but in enemies that are attacking you. Shazah will do her ritual until you kill all those who are attacking you but since you cannot kill them all you will be stuck. Why you can't kill them all? because one of them is stuck in a big rock just in front of you. Try to take a look at that rock wall and you will see one enemy inside it.

I managed to jump around a little and hit him while he was also jumping. at the moment i hit him he was out of the wall and dead. quest solved, problem solved. Thanks

I still have issues when doing this quest.. But not at the southern point.. No, at the northern point.. I'm not the only one, more people are killing mobs over and over but Shazah wont stop meditating.

Update:

I've abandoned and restarted the quest, this time to start with the northern point. Walked away a few times and moved to the point again and again,then i noticed something.
The issue for me is that there are no enemies that spawn, except the ones already in the area, but if you don't aggrivate m, those won't attack.

So in order to be able to finish this quest, some mobs need to spawn that are not spawning right now..
