Can't enter Fungal Grotto with my group?

Last night our 4 player group tried to enter FG as my wife had the quest so we joined up with 2 other guildies. I had run it as had another higher lvl mate, but my wife was doing her quest run and the other was just along for the ride.
We all clicked on the door and when it moved, the screen went black for a few secs then we were still outside. This happened for all of us even when we disbanded and my wife tried to enter alone. We finally gave up and moved on...
Is this a bug or were we missing something?

You try to get in the low level version of fungal grotto right? Sounds like you turned the option for veteran dungeons on, so you basically try to enter the veteran fungal grotto.1
