Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse - ESO does not recognize buttons

Hi there,

don't know if it is normal, but ESO does not recognize any buttons on my G700 beside the "standard" ones like MB1-5 (Left, Right, Middle Click and Back and Forward).

Does the game bind MB6-11 for anyone else or do I need to map keystrokes to the buttons via the macro editor, build into the Logitech Gaming Software.

It works just fine with my old G9 from logitech without LGS installed. I can use all buttons in ESO. I guess the issue is with LGS, so will need to map keys to mouse buttons.

I am using the g700 and all my buttons are recognized

I'm using a G700 just fine.. tthough I do use the LGS to map buttons to keystrokes. For example buttons G1-G7 are simply mapped to keys 1-7 which are basically mapped within the game to action bar slots.

i have a g510 and it works fine. i think i use left right center generic mouse4 ctrl alt F7 F8

The "Generic Button" option for Logitech products isn't recognised on many programs, you need scripts just to make them work for TeamSpeak3.

Bind a keystroke or key that wont get in the way to the buttons and it should work fine.

I'm using a G700 with LGS as well and everything works fine. Check your Drivers and LGS Software

Mine worked with the game, I used the software that came with it to program it.
On a side note, my opinion is the G700 is a piece of #@!$ gaming mouse. I had three of them and all were lemons that didn't work. Thank gawd for Amazon and it's great customer service. I'm a Logitech girl but imo they dropped the ball on that mouse.

Just to clarify, by working with ESO I mean that the game recognizes the button when pressed as "MB6", "MB7", etc. like it does with MB4 and MB5 (Back and Forward).

Is this really working for someone? Or do you just mean that mapping keystrokes (from keyboard) via logitech software? Because that will work ofc.

One thing I do know about the original G700 is the microswitches are very poor and last nowhere near their supposed MTBF 'clicks' rating. Still mine packed in before the warranty expired (given it's 3 years which is pretty good) and contacting Logitech support direct they simply replaced it for a new G700S which supposedly has far better switches, they're lifed many more millions of clicks more than the G700.

Most program doesnt recgnise mouse button beyond 5. You will need to map it to a keystroke.
