Can we get some type of official confirmation whether this is indeed someone trying to hack accounts or just a technical issue.
It would appear from the information provided in the error message and players experiences that what is occurring is at least consistent with the types of technical glitches that can also be exploited to hack the system.
The fact that ESO is using Megaserver Tech and is global makes it a tempting target as a conduit. This is why you provide the Fed Gov access.0 -

✭Thanks for reporting back, folks. Error 304 typically occurs when players have been suddenly booted from the servers. It can take a bit of time for the server to realize that your character isn't in-game anymore, so it won't let you log back in.
We recommend that you not attempt to log in for a full 15-20 minutes. If waiting doesn't help, you're welcome to post here so that we can create a ticket for you, or you can contact our Support Team directly.2 -

i would like to know as well because this type of stuff happen to me in world of warcraft and its no fun.....1 -
Dodece✭✭✭I can report it resolved most of my issues. I had some lag that wasn't there prior to the issue, and oddly enough I had some looting difficulties. Oddly enough I could loot creatures, but not their bipedal counterparts. Oh well I am not overly concerned. It will probably clear up in time. I took that as an excuse to go back to do a group dungeon I had bypassed earlier. I made some lower level players very happy.
So ironically though the game was buggy it was the most fulfilling part of my day. Getting to be really useful for some people who could use it.0 -

Dweebert✭✭Got back in after about a 10 min wait.. Played for about an Hour and a half then happened again. Now it's tellin me to many failed attempts to log my account in and I only tried once..0
