Gore Removal

I play this game casually and my 6 year old likes to watch over my shoulder. The gore is minimal but I would like to find an addon to remove it all together. Does anyone know of anything or any way? Ty in advance.

I have yet to see gore in ESO, they should add more of it considering its rated mature

I don't remember seeing any gore, so if there is any it's probably minimal. AoC on the other had had blood splat on your screen which was awesome.

Nope. I can understand you reasoning and sorry if this sounds rude. But their is a reason that this game is rated for adults.

I'm quite confused as well, I've never seen any gore. In fact, I was kind of expecting to see a lot more, considering they were sticking with their M rating.

I've literally seen 0 gore. Not even a splash of blood. I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about. I've seen a couple Daedra hearts in a bowl, but that's not exactly gore.

never even seen any blood or gore... frankly, just ask your child to do something else whilst you are battling something and have them help you harvest nodes or craft or run around in towns

I almost never notice it, but I wonder if changing settings could help? I mean stuff like minimizing certain ones, perhaps that would have an affect?

Eventually I will also be playing with a little one on my lap, but I think I will have a few years before it becomes an issue I need to consider.

At the very least maybe its a good time for a talk with your own little one if it is or does bother them! Also there was some talk awhile back about playing ESO as a pacifist, I don't think I would ever have the patience, but I believe the person who started the topic was also a parent. That thread is gone now as it was a beta thing, but that could also be an option when your little one is around.

Playing as a pacifist might work if crafting also leveled up your character, but since it doesn't, I'm really not sure how you can effectively play the game to the end without killing anything.

Well earlier in the game at lower levels, i did see a dark elf tied to the bed by another dark elf....I then began to loot everything and slowly walked out trying not to make eye contact. They pretended I wasn't even there.

The game is rated M and i can tell you why, its when you walk down into a bar basement only to find one female nightelf spanking up another male nightelf who is tied up, thats why its rated M
But aside from that... gore ??? please do tell where you see gore ??? i can put people on fire, i can knock them down, but no matter how hard i hit them, they wont bleed or send blood splashing trough the air hitting me in the face making me look li... *cough* sry got carried away there...
Point is, i dont see no gore at all

The most gore-y thing I've seen is putting half-a-goblin head on a spike as part of a quest. 0_0; There isn't even any blood, it's literally just the top of the head removed from the character model attached to a spike.

There is gore, but it's fairly minimal. You know the little attacks that cause bleeding over time? Like, an enemy flings something that looks like an icicle and it hits you and you have blood spurting from both wrists for several seconds. That's really all I've seen though.

This game is Mature for a reason. There's a woman in the Dominion area who killed her lover and pulled the flesh off his bones, then gave him an audience of skeletons just so he wouldn't leave. Then packed the room with incense so it wouldn't smell. There's a necromancer who's trying to resurrect his dead son, and you end up helping put this innocent ten year old sounding voice into an undead FLESH ATRONACH. Sorry, but the game is definitely dark in places, and I'd argue your six year old probably doesn't need to be watching you play it. Screw the gore, there's plenty of other things in there they don't need to see that young. It's too early to have the dreaded conversation, "Daddy, where do Flesh Atronachs come from?"

Oh wow. Dunno what settings your guys are running but there's blood sprays every time I slash something. Strange nobody sees it.... Oh well. thanks for the input all.

I know its your kid but wouldnt it be a good idea to go be a parent at have them do something else to keep their attention while you play?

Or play when they are asleep?

Heck honestly Id love to see some blood sprays make the game take advantage of that M rating.

OP, if you and your child were lost in the wilderness and your only chance of survival was to live off the lay of the land, would you ask for gore to be removed when hunting and surviving?
