Error Code 1005
Anyone else getting this code. Tells me access is denied after I try to patch. Do the repair and same thing. Account is in good standing.

Shaie✭✭✭Does it tell you anything else? This error code is not in the official list, so without any more information than "access is denied" it will be hard for any of us to help you.
That said though, you could try this: C:/(or whatever drive your game is on)> Folder ESO is stored in > The Elder Scrolls Online > Game > Client > eso (yes, just like that); copy "eso" to your desktop as a shortcut & try launching the game that way.0 -
It is Error code 1005, access denied. I run the launcher, it downloads the patch, and then comes up with that error. I'll give what you said a shot.Edited by nachtmachen_ESO on April 22, 2014 4:25AM0
