Weight of the three crowns? OH COME ON

So I was extremely happy to come online this morning to see that even though my Cold Harbour quest is still bugged, good old Vanus Galerion appeared for "Messages across Tamriel" So I got straight onto the quest. Met the 3 pact leaders to agree to meet each other, and set off through a portal to Skirn. I arrive to go watch the 3 leaders speak among themselves in the quest "weight of the 3 crowns" I go to the location to find nothing but mages and fighters guild members and a map on a rock. No cutscene. Same as my cold harbour quest. Someone PLEASE tell me is there something I can do about this. (Please do not say /reloadui, relog or repair game, cause all Have been done)

Yea its still bugged for me even after today's patch where they supposedly "The Weight of Three Crowns: The alliance leaders are now always present." fixed it.

Really disappointed, just beyond words. I mean to have a bugged quest is one thing, but to go bring the servers down for hours, patch the server, and claim its "fixed" to still have it bugged. What a joke. My cold harbour quest (the armies of meridia) and the rift quest (stomping sinmur) as well as the weight of 3 crowns have all be been bugged for sometime. Kept telling myself it will get better... it will get better... found work arounds to get to cold harbour without finishing sinmur, only to hit another wall in cold harbour. Kept telling my self brush it off... they will fix it... grinded my way to v1 in cryodiil, only to hit another wall because I can't do vet content w/o the main story complete. Something about 3 strikes... maybe its time to move on, I really wanted to like the game for my friends sake and I did at first. However this taste in my mouth... not sure if it will ever go away.

Sorry to rant... but yea its been a frustrating few weeks and a boring long weekend where I was looking forward to being able to play the game, but can't actually do anything other than PVP/sit in town.

*edit* just to list a few of the things I have tried for all 3 quests.
1.relogged/reloaded the instance repeatedly for hours on end to no avail.
2.reset the client, let it sit 15 minutes between resets to "clear the cache" as the customer support told me to do... cache's dont work that way but ok. also running the validation/repair tool.
3.completely uninstalled, cleared the registry and reinstalled the game, nothing.
4.Tryed it on a different computer that has never played TESO, still nothing.
5.Tried it on my school laptop, nothing
6.Tried it on my work laptop, nothing
7.Tried it on 3 different networks, both LAN and wifi, nothing.

I've got identical situation. I was 43, Sinmur didn't show, so I've teleported to friend in Coldharbour and started Army of Meridia quests. At level 45 Weight of the three crowns popped up and I did it to the point you go to an island. Now Sinmur does not spawn, nobody talks to me neither on island nor in Chapel of Light. I cannot progress any further.

found a fix - After thinking it was driver based and trying numerous computers with no progress. I tried various network configurations and 3 different providers(my home network, my schools network and my works network), still nothing. Then I figure it has to be something simple since some people can do it no issues while others are crippled.

The fix - abandon all your quests. I dropped every quest I had except for the weight of three crowns since obviously you cant drop story quests. Once I did that I reloaded the skirk island and the quest worked. Completed it then went to cold harbour, repicked up the armies of meridia, was able to complete that quest as well now. Will go back and try stomping sinmur here shortly but figured people will want to know.

Did it honestly work? If so I'll definitely keep you updated on whether it works for me too.

Dude it worked, for all people with same issues. Abandon all quests in your log and try it. It worked.

After logging on and off with several characters I was finally able to advance in the story to Cold Harbor. Props to the PLAYERS who are figuring out work arounds while Zenimax continues to sink........

Here is my issue: The three "experts on Coldharbour" aren't showing up on the way to the Summit (Lady Laurent, Telenger the Artificer, and Captain Alphuary). My NPC companions have conversations with them but I can't see them and can only hear one side of the dialog. When I make it to the Summit Point, I see the three leaders fine but I haven't progressed beyond that because I am worried that not being able to see those three expert NPCs is going to cause a problem later on.

I had the exact issue you are describing with my main character. All three npc's were not able to be seen, yet the Archmage has conversations with them. I actually called over the gf who laughed with me and shook her head at the scene.

This didn't appear to hamper my progress however. I did notice a delay before the fighting started, but it was all able to be completed. Just looked really, really akward. I've since moved on to Coldharbour and have yet to rescue the schitopherenic archmagister that enjoys having conversations with himself. The other quests out there were able to be completed. I'll probably get around to finishing the rescue over the weekend sometime.
