Why bother with obtaining a matching set when you can just throw on a costume and overwrite the armor models?
However, I would like to see some kind of custom armor dyes or something along those lines so people would be able to differentiate themselves from everyone else wearing the same style of armor.

Dyes were announced in the reddit ama a few days ago ,they will be earned through achievements.I don't think it's a good idea. Paul Sage had indicated in a past interview that there are not real plans for dye yet...
