Today i cancelled my subscription

I will continue to play until the 30 day free period ends:
- spammers have won
- dupers have won
- legitimate players have lost (to the ones above and to the blind banning wave)
- Zenimax, from the management down to CRs and GMs, has failed to even do the most basic customer support service.
I'll come back to see if the games still lives after this summer, there is no way an honest player can enjoy the game right now.
The only thing that makes sense to me now is that Zenimaz has realized the failure of the game, being now beyond repair, and is amassing money until it can to lower the loss.

I've barely been affected by any of that at all and I have been having a great time.
Hyperbole does nothing to illustrate your point other than to attract the attention of the multiple people that are the exception to your point.

Good luck to you. I'm a legitimate player and I am still enjoying the game from crafting and questing all the way to Cyrodiil.
Spamfilter addon helped me alot from the gold spammers in the lower zones (much less to nonexistent spam in the zones past the initial one, go figure). Dupers don't seem trouble me directly as I'm still buying/selling stuff just fine as since I did since early access. Then again, I don't deal in legendary items and I'm not particularly bothered knowing that someone has better stuff than I do.

I have played just about every mmo you could name and I don't think this is a good game at all. Your using the term "WoW Clone" here is wrong. Wow had alot of elements of Everquest in it...does that make WoW and Everquest clone? Simply put devs should use what works and try to change things around for something new and interesting or being back features people enjoy....like Wildstar is doing.0 -
Oavind✭See I did the same thing the other day when I was suspended falsely. Swore I'd leave and never come back. Tbh I was surprised that the very next morning all was well, my account was in good standing, and I was in Tamriel. I immediately felt as if I was the one at fault, not ZO, once it all washed over. I actually felt guilty, what with all the running around like chickens with their heads cut off, that ZO acted on the problem overnight and I was whining in the forums like a child. All of this during the Easter weekend. I'm glad they had workers kind enough to fix this while their families were gathering Easter eggs tbh.
On topic:For all the years I've played Elder Scrolls games, I never once cared about what another player had. If anything, I was happy to see someone's character be awesome (screenshots ftw).
We all hate cheaters, spam, and sellers. But a quick 'ignore' and I'm on my way, never looking back myself. I've got a game to play and a world to explore. I'm gonna go out and get mine regardless of how another may choose to (albeit perhaps wrongfully) go out and get theirs. I've been largely successful in Cyrodiil in both skirmishes and group play so I don't really understand what all the fuss is about.

But would you prefer people just leave quietly and Zenimax left making guesses? Yes, the OP is impatient but as even Forbes confirms the dupe issue and we all know the problems of this game he's not so wrong as to be ridiculed.
"I feel the opposite" is not an argument to overcome the OP and not a bit better than his "it's beoynd repair" DOOM.

I've ignored every spammer I've seen and my list isn't even close. What are you referring to as "spammers"? Are you simply referring to people selling things?
Even if, let's say, you're right, just go into chat options and turn zone chat off until you need it?0 -

1) You dumb whinners helped them by QQing about mandatory Coldharbour tutorial, making them now spawn directly in populated zones with zero effort
2) As long as there is a steady supply of demented people, scammers will thrive on them.

Dupers and other exploiters are in EVERY SINGLE even a little competetive GAME. They want to be "top" players but they don't care they ruin the game for anyone else. Those d*cks should have been deleveled back to 1 for exploiting their way to VR10 in less than a month, because NONE of them did it in a legitimate way.
And the most important of all:
CHILL THE *** OUT!
It's been just 3 weeks, right now they are fixing more pressing issues (like main quest bugging out, making dummies who can't use google to get help stuck in it). I'm sure that if you see someone with duped items, you'll *** report him instead of trading with the guy (I bet that's why "innocent" accounts were banned - there is no such thing as innocent banned account - If they find a *** stack of legendary upgrade items, then you're either duper, or you've traded with one, making you equally guilty)
I'm currently cursing the sheer amount of XP you need for veteran ranks (ABILITY to do quests in other faction areas is NOT the same as ABSOLUTELY HAVING TO do them all to get to VR10..) - but I didn't get desperate (or arrogant) enough to exploit my way to VR10.. unlike some folk around here.. but oh well, there will always be people who have overcompensate for something.1 -
Schmackei✭✭I have had a couple of issues with the game, but nothing game breaking. I was even one of the innocents caught up in the mass banning. I still don't see a reason to get all hyped up and forum slam your exitus from this reality.
If you want to go, then go. Your post is not customer support related, nor is it constructive in nature.
There have been a lot worse launches from many other big named MMOs in history, ones that have even had experience in the field prior. This is a new company to the MMO market and for one thank them for throwing their hat in the ring to work with such a big named franchise. There are so many other companies that could of had it and made it a lot worse than it is today.
As for the downtime that the players have got, it is actually rather minimal in comparison to other MMOs, even established ones with new expansions being released. The server lag, as annoying at is appears (and it is annoying) is actually expected for anyone that has played a newly launched MMO. It is next to impossible to exactly negotiate server requirements of any game before it is released, since new players are buying this game every day, peoples play times and schedules are being balanced out.
Again, if you want to go, then go. World of Borecraft or League of Losers awaits your skill-less droning and whining.0 -
