OP is just doing flame bait -- make a mount out of a mole hill to the amount of bugs in ESO. Yes, there are few major bugs in the game, but ZOS is working on them and are fixing them. I have not ran across any major bugs myself. OP is just over reacting...

Well, I haven't seen any bugs that have made this game "almost" unplayable, or seen continual crashes.

I have had a handful of crashes and the occasional bug.

Pretty sure Zenimax could come up with a few million testimonies from people stating that the game is perfectly playable.

I would certainly testify on their behalf to that effect. A few broken quests hardly qualifies as 'unplayable'.

I wish people who always come up with law stuff would actually spend 4 years in university to learn it. Seriously there is a reason why the law degree is one of the hardest to get in the world...

If law would be as simple as opening a book and checking a few §§§, then we wouldn't have a 40% fail quote in the exams every year.

TESO is fully playable, every judge you tell your claim will buy you a lolly but never invite you to court...

If you buy a game and the server is never online, if your game key is invalid etc. are examples where you can demand a refund. But certainly not if you can play just fine and have to live with the basics that every MMO has - maintenance, bugs or cheaters.

Spending time and money at a university only really helps with STEM degrees. Honestly, anyone can be an attorney. It's not that difficult to understand precedents, and beyond that, all you really need are the ability to metaphorically Ctrl + F legal documents, and people skills. Law degrees are way too over-hyped.

    Just my opinion.

Besides, lawyers are way too corrupt as a whole. Who cares about precedents, and about what the law actually says. Attorneys are taught to simply follow the letter of the law, instead of the spirit of the law, which is pretty unacceptable.

The only thing that matters is what is right, and what is wrong.

Is it right that Zenimax let a game-breaking bug (well, several game-breaking bugs) through to the final release of the game, when they were told about it during the beta? No, not really. But should there be legal ramifications for them? Not necessarily.

You have the right to demand whatever you want, Zenimax has the right not to give you one. With the creation of google suddenly everyone is a expert in law and medicine.

It's true actually, I've got full refunds/replacements on all faulty goods including games in the UK. Sure this is the in most countries where there is consumer protection. Disclaimers incuded within EULA's are not worth a toss on the international scene.

I have been hearing that , within few days up to a week , zen has been giving the money back , atleast from what i saw in the forums.

So i dont really see the reason why you posted this, it is not like they were saying they would not give it back , at least for now.

Amazon is giving refunds due to the forbes report on the bugs, dupes, and failure to fix prior to release. Something about not as advertised and incomplete...

Pretty sure they could also have their forum staff login to random accounts and derail threads to make people who have legit complaints appear to be foolish. That's the power of the internet and those who control whatever site/company you deal with

    You know this bill rite?

    The one that states:

The digital content must be of satisfactory quality and fit for any particular purpose
 The digital content will be of satisfactory quality if it meets the standard that a reasonable person would regard as satisfactory. In judging whether the digital content meets this standard, account will be taken of any description of the digital content, the price (if relevant) and all the other relevant circumstances (such as public statements on the specific characteristics of the digital content).

    Oh and

Bugs are considered standard in digital content on issue62 and as such it is proposed that a reasonable person would expect a certain amount of bugs when purchasing digital content. Therefore the existence of bugs will not necessarily amount to a breach of the guarantee as to quality and fitness. However as some forms of digital content, such as music, or e-books, will be expected (by a reasonable person) to be of a very high quality, we will retain the ‘freedom from minor defects’ aspect of quality for digital content and clarify in guidance that bugs may be acceptable in some forms of content.

Yes the game is about a year (and then some) away from being finished, but there out of money so this is the product we have, there not going to be up for giving much back when it probably cost more than they'll ever recuperate. And this bill is just going to allow them to get away with it as long as they offer fixes (para 129 in the bill if your interested in reading it).

I hate to break this to you baby, but UK standards don't apply outside of the UK. I know it's difficult for you, but that's how law works.

Hint: national laws apply only within the nations that wrote them.

Keep working on your brain cells. Maybe one day you will get there too.
