Infinite Loadscreen Is Back

Greetings,

After ~10 minutes of staring at my screen I decided to make this thread to let it be know that extremely long load times are creeping back. Currently I am in Greenshade (A.D.) but fellow guildmates are experiencing this issue in other factions as well.

Failing to transfer is also occurring frequently.

Yeah for me also or I get a Failed to Transfer message.

If you get stuck at load screen, Press Alt+F4 (or Force Quit on a Mac) and restart the game. Then do the same thing again, it will work immediately second time. Also applies with Failed To Transfer.

It's some kind of megaserver issue.

Your wrong, I have been doing this for an hour even leaving 15 minutes between each log and still the same problem.

I have no Addon's so its not them, this has been a new feature since the last patch. gets much worse at prime time. So much for the mega server being lag free!

For some people, putting an exception on eso.exe in the windows firewall partially solve their problems.

Another one "fix" you can try: Exit the game. Go to documents, elderscrolls online, go to live, go to Saved Variables, DELETE ZO_Ingame.lua. Log back in.

For me oddly enough it seems to have disappeared, after being bugged by this for two days. Today I've only had it happen once in many, many loadscreens. The thing that does keep going though is the random "offline" state, while I'm still connected and able to play and can use chat, etc. Only thing that breaks while being in this "offline" state is traveling to wayshrines.

I have already done all of the know fixes and I'm still having issues using wayshrines or entering anywhere!

Really, fix the game. You took it offline yesterday for hours and you fixed nothing. The exact same problem is still there......

Don't wait for 15 minutes. Close the client, restart it, log back in. It works around the issue. Obviously, the issue itself still needs fixing.

Finally I found a group for a dungeon then this error occurs.
Come on guys, you took the game offline for several hours and nothing is fixed.

I was trying to port to a zone using the same wayshrine about 4 times and kept getting the laoding screen of death. i changed the wayshrine the 5th try and it workd.

Well I was gone a good portion of the day, logged in about half an hour ago and now hardly of the npc's or players show. Had to do /reloadui a ton of times. Made the mistake of leaving the game and trying to log back in, took ages.

I am getting eternal loading screens now trying to get into Lady Llarel's Shelter in Deshaan.
We not having an issue at all until this one instance. Have tried a couple of others with the same result.
I added the game exe to my firewall after 1.04 came out, it did remove the loading delays between zones and maps, but not going into buildings and instances apparently.

Back to cleaning while this screen takes a week to process.

I have been having this issue all day today, i will try to load a dungeon and stuck at loading screen, log out and can get in and be fine for 4 or 5 more zone switches. One dungeon i was stuck in and had to relog 12 times to get out. Finally on the forums posting about it because im too annoyed right now to play.

For some odd reason I thought that doing some pvp in Cyrodill would be a nice way to chill after getting back from the airport.

Hahahaha... no no no nonono... Other than (or because of) my constant Cyrodill disconnects, I'm staring at the loading screen right as I type this. Been about five minutes now. On minimum settings, even though everything looks like crap on it.

(Does it seem like to anyone that the current error that requires people to 'wait a few minutes before logging in' still reeks of "Unknown Error" that basically translates to "We have no idea what's wrong or how to fix." )

I got an infinite load screen, but it flashes though all the tips one after another. Relogging doesn't do anything as well.
