Not the same issue others were having, but I actually completed the quest (kept Aelif alive and destroyed the weapon), but when I was being teleported out I got stuck on the loading screen.
When I logged back in, I was at the stage where I had to destroy the Vivicus again... but of course I had no Prismatic weapon left, and there was no sign of the Vivicus. Sent a /bug and /help request.
I'm *NOT* doing this quest again. After all the other region-blocking quests, this may well be the last straw if I don't get satisfaction from the GMs.
