Stuck in Loading Screen

What was this Maintenance about?

I still stuck in every single Loading Screen and need to
restart the Game and try loading again...

same here, happens every time I try to change zone with waystone or "door". It started happening after patch on friday 18. april

Same. Waited a lot of hours because the server was down, only to not really being able to play anyways as I am never loading into a new zone.

Same here, have to alt-f4 out. Maybe trying again 4-5 times lets me swap zones or leave a dungeon

Getting this as well. Started right after the most recent server maint.

Waiting for a never ending loading screen as I write this.

Same problem at the moment ... when I use a wayshrine, it either says "Attempt to transfer failed" or it loads the loading screen and stays there indefinitely.

so Zenimax wont give much - Hmm too bad...

Be happy you're at least in the game! Some of us can't get past the loading screen after the Character Log in screen for the past 3 hours!

Playing without problems on the EU server, I am wondering which server you refer to and possibly which zones ? I mean... I doubt that such generalized description would help anyone ?

Just now got my first 'stuck in loading screen'.

It was after I had to restart my client since I tried to use the Wayrest Wayshrine to get to the Daggerfall Wayshrine but it refused to take me. Restarted client, and tried again.

Loading screen happened.......then just keeps happening. *sighs* Going to restart....AGAIN.

I bought it today, finished loading and tried to play the game. I finish the first cut scene and all it does is load. This is unacceptable.

I'm in the same boat. I simply cannot travel as I'll get stuck in an infinite loading screen.

Same issue here. Initial login goes fine, but changing zones? Not so much.

After closing the game, and making sure to close the launch program, I started up the launch program again and restarted the client.

THIS TIME I *was* able to use the wayshrine and the loading screen did not last forever.

I notice if i alt-tab during loading screen it stay's on the loading screen. anyone else getting that??

This patch messed something up for some of us... I didn' get this endless loadscreen before, now I'm getting it after the patch. Its a dice roll when I get it... some times when I enter a public dungeon and other times its when I exit. It's very annoying having to force close the game, reopen then client, press play, wait for the game to go through all the fucken logos, type in the password and wait for myself to load in... I'm only playing this game for the free month, too much of a headache to pay 15$ a month.

At this point I have given up logging in on Easter Weekend and am watching BBC America instead, the History of Science Fiction! I'm assuming we picked up a lot of new players this weekend as well and they haven't fully implemented the Overload servers that we Beta Tested that were specifically designed to handle excess log ins because instead of finding myself on a server with no Cyrodil and no Guild Chat, I simply find myself at Loading Screen Boss who is undefeated at this point.

I've been getting this all day. Given the number of times you are forced to zone even during a single quest this is a major time waster.

I just update my Nvidia driver as well, but I'm guessing it's some Zeni changed in the last patch.

Plz fix this ASAP Zeni.

Been in Cyrodill loading screen for 25 minutes by now. My quest to move forward in the game is bugged, and I can't move forward, so I figured I'd so some PVP instead. Silly me!

same here since beta, made many customer tickets , sent them my ip, still nothing happens, endless loading screen... best thing is i can connect via my tablet's internet, but its slower costs more and i dont have fibre 60mb for nothing, especially that other mmos work fine.
