i keep dieing,rezzing,dieing.(DAY 6+)

oke, so i was doing a quest ontop of the mountain in riften where you take frost damage unless you stand near a fire, i completed quest and got off the mountain,- than the server went offline for maintenance and it got rolled back, no problemo.

but the problem is, i log in, see myself on top of the mountain again taking that frost damagen so i move away from it, yet even on the other side of riften i'm still taking the damage... i died 5 times now, my repairs are getting high.. so basicly i'm not able to play.

ive been patient, dont care that much for bugs, tricky launch and things that were beeing said post launch for launch yet still not beeing done, but what i cant stand is that after waiting for hours to log in, you can finally do it and the first thing you see is that you are unable to play and have to waist alot of gold on repairs for a bug..

    Sounds as though you should raise a customer support ticket about that, do so now if you haven't already, hope it gets fixed for you soon :)

    made a ticket, but some help from a forum moderater telling an in-game gm would help, if i have to wait a few days for this to get solved than my weekend of relaxing behind the pc is ruined, and payed for nothing.

    I'm sorry you have a problem but that's not our fault, we're just paying customers. Contact support. If that doesn't get you anywhere, talk to your MP or start an action with the Trading Standards Office.
    Maybe contact your supplier and ask for a refund. What else can I say?

    i'm not asking other players, i'm asking for mods to give a hand on how to solve this issue.

    It's a public forum where people come for advice - mainly from other players. It's called Customer Support because it sounds good and occasionally the real CS will trawl it to see what's particularly bugging a lot of players. Sometimes they even make a comment.

    The best you will EVER get here is a reply from a mod telling you to contact support directly and what information they need.

    I'm just pointing out that he's wasting his time. If people don't understand how things work, I usually try to explain.

    He's going about solving his problem the wrong way. He won't get help any faster by making a noise in the forums - although I can see how it might make him feel better.
    He needs to contact support directly, by phone if necessary and keep his attention on that. Right now the CS department at Zenimax must look like an overturned ant's nest so good luck with that.

    i still have the issue,
    i got an email a few minutes after i made this thread yesterday saying that a "higher authority" will be called to assist me.

    yet, no email,in-game mail/whisper..just nothing.

    lets say if (pointed towards a zenimax employee) you were standing in a store with a prduct you bought from there that is broken, and the guy helping you says he is going to call a person to assist you.
    would you like it if you are still standing there the next day ?

    i'm patient but i would like to get an update on this.
    and if a "higher authority" was called, than how commes that person isnt helping me? looking at the fact that if you call someone, i'd assume that person jumps into the issue straight away.

    You may want to check their phone numbers and give a call, that may perhaps speed things up, or at least get someone's attention to your issue right away. Although even there seems to be some wait time.

    as far as i can tell the Phone support isnt really for in-game matters, and they emailed me after i made this thread saying they called someone to assist me.
    but nothing is happening..

    Sorry to see that your problem is still being ignored.
    I was wondering if you still keep dying because of cold dmg, or just want a refund for these deaths? I think its the 1st option, otherwise you wouldnt post here or wait for GM reply.

    From personal experience: I submitted a ticket every time I started to play about broken quests hoping to hear from GM ingame to solve the problem. I've got response only once in 1,5 hours after submitting the ticket that GM was trying contact me while I was afk. Not sure if it was true, probably it was while I was having breakfast. All other times I've got replies on email that this issue is being worked on, try to abandon/redo quest or relog. Several mails said that some1 would contact me ingame, I waited patiently for 3-4 hours, nothing ;(

    TL DR: Dont hope for GM reply, chances are miserable. I am sorry if your bug is gamebreaking.

    and i'm not even in the zone anymore, i tryed to stay alive so i could teleport all the way to deshaan, just so i can keep dieing infront if the port stone there.

    but i guess il keep bumping this thread since the customer support! forum is looking more like a general whine/kiddy forum

    Its pretty bad tbh. This would really p*** me off if this happened on my main. If I was in my other mmo, this would cause a bit of a laugh, then after contacting a GM, it'd probably be fixed in 20-30 mins tops, maybe sooner.

    Perhaps its just shear numbers of people needing help right now in what has probably got to be the most played mmo at the mo.

    this is beyond bad, if you look at other topics in this forum section you will see that the greenies are replying to stupid threads that have nothing to do with costumer support within a few hours.. yet here i am.

    It will take a few days.
    You are not the only one hit by this bug,there's an older long thread. I had the same bug and after submitting help request ingame I had to wait for a few days. Then I got email from gm asking when I would next be online. I told the time and did an alt to pass time, after a while he whispered me, I logged in as the bugged main and he fixed my char.

    Also you can remove all your gear before doing the dying and rezzing and wont take durability damage

    Just throwing some guess work here. It seems that when you enter that area a debuff is placed onto your character. There must also be something that makes the game recognize that it needs to now remove that debuff. Try a few of these things to see if it will hopefully trigger the removal code.

    Have you tried going back up the tower that leads to the mountain. Then re exiting? Maybe there is something about the exit door that sheds the effect of that area. (although I jumped off when I did it).

    If that doesn't work try traveling to a way shrine from within the area of cold damage while standing near a fire. Maybe the fire will stick with you. Or try logging out near the fire.

    tryed it, doesnt work and i die so fast that i cant unequip my gear aswell so :-/
    also, i cant get back on that mountain since i will be dead way before i would reach it.
