ZO_Ingame.lua stops area transition

r.karlb16_ESO
I have now repeatedly come acroos an issue with new areas not loading forever - that is, until I exit the game completely, delete the ZO_Ingame.lua file from the SavedVariables folder and restart the game. It then works for a while, online for the bug to reoccur after something like 10 area transitions. This is getting annoying, and I'd appreciate if this bug could be fixed or advice be given how to stop ZO_Ingame.lua from re-appearing after having been deleted. Thanks!

I just wanted to say, I am also experiencing this! ZO_Ingame.lua keeps appearing whenever I try to move between zones (and when it reappears, I get logged out due to some sort of error). When I get logged out due to the error, I also notice that it kills my game's sound. If I try to log into a character after this, I get stuck at requesting character load, so I also have to completely exit the game, delete ZO_Ingame.lua, then restart to play. I think I'll be trying a complete reinstall soon to see if it keeps ZO_Ingame.lua from appearing.

This file reappears after I manually crash out an infinite load screen, and deleting it does not prevent another crash instantly after. I don't think this file causes the crashes.

The zone is more than likely loading because you restart the game and tried again - not because you deleted the lua file...

And its being recreated by design. Its basicly your character "settings" file (for example crafting tickboxes states). From what I can tell, it should have absolutely nothing to do with loading a zone. Deleting it will no doubt generate a new default file.
