We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

All this Negativity, how much is it our fault and not zen's?

Ok so just take a moment to consider the situation.

This game has been out less than five minutes yes.

Already we have the following happen:

1. Camping of various spawn points of high value game content
2. Intentionally Exploiting damaging economy
3. Using client hacks

So i'm sorry, but these multiple threads popping up with PvP isn't fun too hard, game play isn't fun too hard, Zen sort out the bots, Zen sort out the campers. Zen please give me everything I want..

You know what? SORT YOURSELVES OUT.

1.STOP EXPLOITING AND PLAY THE DAMN GAME OR GET OUT.
2.STOP BUYING GOLD WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK THE BOTS COME FROM
3.LEARN ABOUT THE GAME AND REALIZE WHAT THE PVP IS IN THIS GAME AND HOW IT'S DESIGNED.
4. LEARN HOW THE COMBAT IN THIS GAME WORKS AND READ INSTEAD OF SKIPPING TEXT & TIPS.

I'm quite honestly not worried about Zen at this point in it's early release state of ESO (Yes I know there was beta and early access etc etc), I'm worried about YOU LOT.

A majority seem hell bent on this hipster negative review fad crap like what we see on metacritic.

There are game breaking bugs yes, but Zen is ploughing through all of your reports trying to sort it when a record number of you are spamming reports to them because your bank items are missing, when that's down to other players trying to exploit. I genuinely think it's a side effect of that!

Come here to play this game and accept the way it's designed or just LEAVE, for god sake just jog on.

For every bug in effect in this game right now, every attempt the player base has done to cut corners and exploit HAS DONE FAR MORE DAMAGE than the bugs ever will.

Complain to the vermin we have scurry around playing the typically cliche' teen socially deficient 24/7 hacker, before you add another report to Zen eh, then we might have a fairly stable game!

Oh they don't? So why am I reading so many negative threads? In fact if you tell me the posters of those actually don't really play the game and are trolling and bandwagon jumping, that would make more sense to me.

Which are a side effect of trying to stamp out the exploits, as well as bug squatting at the same time.

If you call this "many", you'd feel overwhelmed if the whole ESO community would pop in. This is literally nothing compared to that.

Well while i'm playing most of the people I talk to in game are happy, know there are issues, and work round it.

I think most don;t come to the forums to avoid the usual crap, what can I say, I had a spare few moments while eating...

Week 1 - Zenimax reset my husbands bank, making him lose 50 slots and never responded to any of the 3 tickets he sent.
Week 2 - Stuck for 6 days on a quest blocking all content trying to move on from coldharbor
Week 3 - Banned as one of the innocents caught up in the duping scandal, whilst finding out real dupers are still out there.

Point out which of the above is acceptable, then consider all 3 happening in a period of less than a month to a single player (my husband). Customer support hasn't helped him let alone answered a ticket on the subjects above.

People are paying for a service which isn't being provided. I argued on every topic stating it was a rip off to have a subscription in this game, my argument is that you are paying for bug fixes, stability and support. After I saw a post where someone asked why the customer service rep on the phone told him to unsubscribe and check back in a few months with relation to a bug report, I realised I was a complete moron for even thinking that we'd get any of those things.

Maybe if there was a customer support agent working for Zenimax who actually tried to help the player base, then we'd see customer support thread numbers reduce. But when the support system fails, people become desperate, and since the bad luck lottery of this game indicates that you will fall foul of something nasty in this game too, I really hope people are alot more sympathetic than they appear to be now.

I enjoy the game, I do help new players, I rez a lot of them, heal a lot of them. I even gave lockpick to a guy so that he could try again instead of getting the chest myself.

And I come on those forums to speak about what could be improved.

    What's the problem?

In this day an age, any developer must expect the worst and handle the worst.

If the tips are not well-designed and enjoyable to read, no one reads them. Then people have problems in combat, developer problem.

If dupe bugs are there, people will abuse all hell out of them, then people will quit due to a broken economy, developer problem.

If the mechanics are unintuitive people will find them not good and not play, developer problem.

If anything is bugged or exploitable it will be done, at largest scale possible, people are opportunists, developer problem.

We as customers pay money and THEY are selling us a product, constantly.
So they have to cater to the audience and they have to ensure it works. Our part is playing it. If the experience becomes unenjoyable for any reason - well the unsubs are happening.
