Purple tier Provisioning veteran recipes - Anyone found one? Do they exist?

I saw a bot selling 14 of each in Eastmarch last week for 1k apiece. Duping bug?

32 VR5 purple recipes? Either bot farming, exploiting or duping I would guess. If there was a way to legitimately farm them that quickly you would be seeing them selling 24/7 on zone chat.

for 1k each, I'm guessing you saw lvl 35 recipes?

There were 2 types, one was lvl 35, and the other was VR1

There is no VR1 recipe to my knowledge. It goes lvl 50, then VR5.
    Am I wrong about that??

Edited to add, anyone (bot or not) selling purple recipes at 1k each has got to be dumb as a stick. If he farmed them legit somehow or if he duped them, it makes no sense. The lvl 50 or V5, whtever you saw, those are worth 100x that much, and even the level 35's are worth 15k or so.

    Did you buy any?

My best guess atm is they most often drop extremely rarely from back packs RNG as this seems to be the most common place to find recipes.

I have noticed this too, seem to be getting a lot more recipes from backpacks than I used to, but that could be just a rnd thing.

I don't recall clearly enough to say 100% whether it was VR 1 or VR 5. At the time I was just really disgusted by seeing it. I didn't buy any, as I don't believe in supporting duping, which I thought it must have been. I could not fathom how anyone could have farmed that many and sell the so cheap. The only way it made any sense is if they were duped and the person wanted to offload that ASAP, which they probably did. The post only came up once, and I should have gotten a screenshot.

Not that I have hit VR level yet, I have only gotten one level 35 purple recipe. I got it in a random backpack search in low level Auridon of all places just two weeks ago.

I still get common motifs but they drop only about once every couple of weeks for me and that is with me opening every container that crosses my path. As for the truly uncommon ones, I see fewer and fewer zone chats offering to sell one. The drop rates must be like one tenth of one percent now.

So, I heard a rumor (I admit it is a rumor, I heard it second hand, not from the source), that some raid guilds are requiring top raid members not only to have certain abilities slotted and gear sets/stats, but also requiring that every raid member chip in money for their guild provisioner to buy one of these recipes (hence the million gold price tags we have seen offered), AND they are requiring every raid member to have at lest 38 in provisioning themselves, and put 2/3 minimum into hireling to send rare mats gotten to their guild provisioner.

    This is funny....right? RIGHT?? lolol...cry.

I had early access to the game with my pre-order and I managed to find a fair few purple recipes during the game's earlier stages. I believe they have since been taken out entirely?

Good for them, if you belong to that type of guild those requests are not unreasonable. I do not and have no interest in belonging to that sort of guild.

It is not that it is unreasonable, it is that it is necessary that I find funny. I don't raid anymore, but I did once upon a time.
Fire pots in wow were a necessity for some MC bosses, but we just bought them from our guild potion maker, or provided mats, or bought them ourselves or made them ourselves if we were so inclined.

I think it is funny that the buffs people want for raids in this game are sooooo hard to get, it's worth a million gold, and 50 people farming hirelings to get it. That just means regular people have almost no access to them. That is what I find broken about it.

Not that it matters, blue foods are fine. If ONLY we could harvest ingredients in vet areas to make blue foods (or even green foods) our own level, wouldn't that be loverly!

Who cares if someone has to contribute to the guild, plenty of games I have been in you have to pay a weekly amount towards the upkeep of the guild I.e potions/food etc, repairs during raid etc (or you even forget it's the tanks who take the most damage in a raid and spend the most on repairs?)

Why does anyone think this unreasonable, let me guess same person who thinks the alchemist/provisioners in the guild should provide everything for free?

If you want to play at the competitive end in any game, it's expected, or is just turning up for a raid, let the rest of your guild carry you and that's expected?

    Funny right?
Yeh, laughing at you for having no idea!!!

The VR-5 Drink boosting all 3 stat regens is the best purple recipe in drink for people looking for that buff right?

And the VR-5 Food boosting all 3 primary stats is, etc…

Question is, does each of the 3 drink types and each of the 3 food types have an epic VR-5 recipe?

I have only found the VR-5 Beer one… just curious.

Oh god no, you are entirely missing the point, lol. Jeezus, get bent easy. I'm a provisioner, I sure as hell don't think my stuff should be free. I charge quite a lot actually. Your entire rant back at me had nothing at ALL to do with anything I posted.
I know people need to contribute to end game and that is important and fine, but people are offering 1 million gold for a recipe and they are so rare THEY CANNOT GET IT FOR A MILLION GOLD!!!! THAT is the unreasonable part. (Plus the rarity of only SOME rare ingredients IS funny). Like, pepper is everywhere but tomatoes and oats you need 10 people with 3/3 provisioning to make the same amount you can with a pepper recipe and one person farming it normally.

Those 2 things were my point.

    Geeze. Learn to read.

Hm, i have several Blue Vet-5 Recipes and i mean they gives a higher Bonus in their two Slots then a Purple Vet-5 Recipe in their 3 Slots.

Only an Example for a Level 35 Purple Recipe that i have learned. The Purple One gives me 180 on all three Stats and the Blue One 211 on two Stats.

The Vet-5 Recipes have lower Bonus too but they hit all 3 Stats, i mean. I saw a Purple Vet-5 (Think so?) Drink Recipe today who gives a +8 Reg Bonus to all three Stats, my Blue Vet-5 Recipes gives a +11 Bonus to two Stats.

I want to buy a Purple Vet-5 too because i collect them, but i dont forget the Option to use Blue Ones. They are really good.

I was hoping someone could clear up some questions I have about purple recipes.

    1. What level versions do they come in? Is it only level 35 and V1/V5? I've not seen or heard of any purple dropping for level 40/45 at all and nothing lower than 35.

    2. If they only come in those level ranges, would it be possible to outlevel your chance to pull level 35 purples, but not be high enough to pull veteran purples, essentially creating a dead zone where your chance to pull a purple is zero because you aren't the right level range?

    3. If this is true, then what is the level "sweet spot" that allows you to pull level 35 purples. Would there be a level "sweet spot" for VR recipes or would V12 be able to pull them just fine?
