Is it safe to buy motiffs ?

I have been purchasing motifs as I can afford them for my main and my one alt since I have not decided which character will end up being the one I play the most.

Will me buying motifs trigger any sort of "alert". At most ever, I have had about 1,200 gold total on my account. I have 4 characters. one level 11, one level 10 and two level 7.

my tailor clothes are green at most.

Can motifs be dups ?

I would not purchase anything for a while, personally. Just to be safe you aren't accidentally acquiring one that's been created by cheating.

I think I will not buy anything for people saying wts in zone for a bit. I have never cheated in any way on a online game.

I haven't bought, traded, sold, mailed anything; I'm not in any guild either and I got banned.

Anyways, don't expose your account doing any of the above.

I would imagine you're ok to buy motifs for 2 reasons:
1. Low level motifs aren't exactly rare, as such the prices on them have dropped substantially.
2. From what I could gather about the dupe, was that it only worked on stackable items. Motifs don't stack.

There are cheating motifs? lol I have some but I am legit... lol .... I keep them for me and my characters for now... my business is not open yet, waiting for a better trade system.

Personally, I would stay away from buying and selling, from trading and being in a guild until this mess has been sorted out.

It is a sad fact that the Cheats ruined the game for us all. One can just hope Z-Max gets things sorted out in the near future.

Yes, Z-Max does not deserve a kiss either for rushing child-like into an issue that all MMO's without exception have experienced. Criminals hijacking the game was foreseeable and could have been made more difficult by implementing measures (other MMO's have already implemented) before the game was launched.

Again, no pats on the shoulder for Z-Max.

However, in the final analysis... it is the gold - spamming, bot - running Criminals and the Bug exploiters and just plain Cheats that brought the presents trouble upon those who like to play this game.

Yes, it is sad that some innocent people have been caught in the net of suspensions. However, it is my suspicion that not all who post 'I am innocent' in the forums are actually innocent.

To those who are innocent of cheating and exploiting, please be patient and do not let your emotions get the upper hand. Wait for the appeal process...even if you think it is cumbersome and slow. In my opinion the game itself is of such quality (even with the bugs) that it is well worthwhile to wait for any wrong suspension to be retracted.
