Version Mismatch??

Hello,

Hoping someone can help me understand the discrepancy I'm seeing. On the latest patch notes for the patch that was apparently applied today (still at work, haven't logged in) I noticed the version noted was 1.0.4.

However, my game version is 1.0.0.98..... (can't remember it all but it was like 6 or 7 numbers long).

The last patch I applied, which I thought was supposed to be 1.0.3 came back with an error that said something to the effect of "can't recognize version number" and forced a repair. However, the version number remained the same as stated above.

So in short, what version is my game supposed to be at?

The game client is still displaying the internal build number as opposed to the version (1.0.4). The 1.0.0.98xxxx is correct.

Hopefully they will eventually change this.

There is a difference.

The patch version is 1.0.4.
The client version is 1.0.0.98.

It's not the same thing, you see.
