Yet another new gold seller trick

Sorry guys, I know there are posts on this and I did report player in game, but I was unsure if a screen shot could be added to a ticket using the support link and I was also not sure if adding a screen shot to the in game report would show the message so I am including it here (with name and link edited out so I don't give them free advertising)

Basically they used the subject line "Enimax Daily Newsletter" in a sad attempt to be official I suppose.

This is what they have been doing.. just a different Title for the email.

I have to hand it to Zen for today though, 1 hour in chat and the spam was pretty much gone. The bans they just did must have taken out a bunch of accounts that were doing it.

They will be back by tonight though sadly.

I reply to every one of those as I report them. My response is mirrored in every email, in that I make explicit innuendoes about immediate family members and farm animals.
Words contained in posts, at which point I stop reading and will not respond...
Toon / Mana / WoW or any acronym following "In ___" /
Pets (when referring to summoned Daedra) / Any verbiage to express slang (ie, ending in uz,az,..) / Soul Stone
    ... to be continued.

    Now, get off my lawn.

I got one this morning saying it was ESO update information. I was like, that's weird, looked at it and thought to myself, I really wish they'd let me select to only get mail from friends and guild mates.

Careful with that. GMs will take even complaints from gold spammers seriously and you may get banned for dissing a gold spammer.

Or mistakenly banned as a gold buyer.

If I get banned for cussing out a **** gold pusher then there are deeper issues within the organization.

The reasoning is that, even though they are violating the terms of service, you are violation the terms of service. Both sides could get the ban hammer. It's safer to report them and cuss them out privately to yourself.

What we need is a right click report as spam that auto ignores them and reports them at the same time. This seems to be what comes along in most of the MMOs I've played, I'm surprised it doesn't come default in any new MMO. It's like devs have this weird illusion that it won't happen in my game...

I got one of these "Daily Newsletters" yesterday. None today.

The innovative thing about it, and I called this out in my report, is that this one was the first time, for me, that they did not directly reference a URL and instead said "google us".

    Here's another.

If you see the following in zone chat
    1) You try to click on fakename2 to report but it says invalid user
    2) You try to click on fakename1 to report but it says invalid user
    3) You finally clue in and click on originalname to report a gold spammer that is faking multiple other names to make it look like they didn't send the spam.

    [originalname] hey
    [fakename1] us cn
    [fakename2]

Blah blah gold seller spam here.

If someone from CS does happen to see this, can I ask if when reporting these types of messages in game and including a SS does it show the message?

when shadowbane was new I got a three day ban for killing gold farming bots, camping them and talking trash when they begged me to stop in broken english.

I never see a point in including a screen shot for these types of reports. Surely the reporting system will include the message you are reporting? Does it not?

I figured the screen shot feature is for when people are violating the TOS but your only evidence is visual.

I follow them around in wow and tag their kills.

In vanilla wow theyd farm demons in Azshara. Id banish their targets and my invisible succubus pet would tap them for me(set agressive in the middle of the group, told to stay, then cast invisibility).

    I was a jerk. Lol.

At the point where you select "Report Player" from landscape pressing F or a spam mail, the game takes a screenshot Bugreport.jpg in your screenshots folder. So it will show the bot standing in front of you with it's crazy name or the content of the email. Check bugreport.jpg each time to make sure.

edit: make sure you check the include scn shot box

@Macdui, thanks, that's what I was trying to figure out so I knew if I only needed to report in game or through an out of game ticket with an included SS.
