"MISSING" RED BOXES EVERYWHERE

What is this and why is it on some people's screens but not others? In some areas it is crazy pervasive. Can we get some estimate when it will be fixed? It looks unfinished and cheap and spoils the feel of the game. Thanks.

It means the game has failed to load the artwork. Fix = change to a lower graphic settings, restart game. Change back to old setting, restart.

I've only seen them running on minimal settings. And no, you don't know why they're there, since you're not a developer. They tend to crop up from time to time, and have been there since early beta. Use /bug in-game to report them.

Could you give me a link the actual fix from Zenimax? I searched but unless you have the perfect search phrase it can be missed.

You say high to low, other advice says low to high. I run mostly on high with shadow and water medium so for me it's not a minimal setting issue.
