Bank space Suggestion...

I have a Suggestion for the Multiple complaints about bank space.

to keep with true TES Fashion, allow the players to go into a random NPC's house, murder him and his "staff", and just let us pile stuff in his dressers, chests, etc...

back in my day I had a Lovely house in Balmora that I borrowed from a Noble... its was beautiful... those were the days.

OR... if that's unreasonable. simple starting the bank at 500 slots, with upgrades being 100 would also work. and would still be the money sink you hope it would be.

anywho... that's my idea(s). time to log in and play the Bank/Bag mini game!

Housing would go a long way to solving the storage issue, but I put housing right up there in the wish list with underwater swimming, dueling, real auction houses and a mostly bug free game.

Ive scouted out a nice house in VG... /zone chat is a bit spammy, but otherwise the location is nice.

or maybe a Closet... separate from the bank, character specific... for stuff like toys and outfits... stuff I don't need from day to day but might want to play with again.

I would like to see something like this as well, storage space is too limiting at the moment, you spend more time managing your bank and/or inventory after a long grind.

Yes please - I have my bank full of crafting mats I have yet to get recipes for. Bank storage upgrades are not cheap as I am only at 80 space thus far.

Or how about every char you have can have their own bank and you can mail to your alts. Tried mailing mats to an alt - no idea you couldn't. =(

A house would be great. With tons of storage, like in Elder Scrolls games.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the houses you first appear at in Davon's watch and Daggerfall Covenant are instanced to you alone, are they not? (Vulkhel you spawn on a ship). I have never seen another player inside with me even when returning to check for lootables. So we technically already have a house to ourselves anyway... just adding interactive furnishings to those buildings (and adding something in for VG) would make this happen.

Crafting material should be a separate tab at the bank. I've given up on provisioning with all my alts because there's just no room.

I know what you mean.

I always started out with killing and taking over Foryn Gilnith's house in Sayda Neen as I worked that area.

Once I moved on to Balmora I reluctantly shared Cosius Cosales' house until I "took care of" Dura gra-Bol and usurped her house for my base of operations.

Three floors with plenty of steps to lay out all the special weapons, while using the landings for special armors, all to display my "lovely" collection.

Plenty of shelf space for all of my potions, jewelries, scrolls, and various soul stones downstairs with the shelves and tables. The bedroom table (so durable) for all my Dwemer artifacts (very heavy), and the chest for "special" ashes and the like at the foot of my bed. And the corner with the coat stand for one of every books I could find.

The top floor had that first set of boxes I used for storing all manner of materials, in and on top, for all my alchemical concoctions using the Grand Master set (stowed on the top left). With the trophies of all the Ash Statues I took from the cultists and their temples in the nook, inside and on top of, the box and barrel, oh so many.

And of course all those lanterns and candles to brightly light it all.

How I loved being able to Recall myself "home" to manage my sales, collection, stores, and to catch a nap when needed.

I never bothered with my mansion except to complete it and to give a short visit. It just wasn't located in the right spot.

Ahhh, there is no place quite like "home".

The bank system in this game is the worst, by far, in any MMO that has said banks for storage. I can't believe it's been a year and they still have this b.s. problem.

Oh, and we're make it worse by making it so you cant access the bank when some IRL loser kills the banker.
