So, can we get an official guild store update?

As title says, an official update to allow us to filter what we search for in the guild store would be appreciated, because I do not want to use addons. While I am not against others using add ons, I simply prefer official patches. That would be nice.

As far as I can tell you can't even sort by name. Doesn't seem like it would be difficult to put a keyword search in there.

Exactly. This is what I was thinking. In the past ESO games I have noticed that the DEVS actually relied on modders to do their work for them a lot of the time. But now, we are paying for subs, and I kind of EXPECT them to update these things.

I am paying a sub for support from the developers and development team. Not the modders. While, as I said, I have nothing against UI mods, I will not use them.

You can request it (and have), I think they have more pressing issues right now though.

    The guild store isn't finished.

    It will be updated.

In fact, it has a search function implemented, it's just hidden.

Probably wouldn't work well currently considering the sorting doesn't even work.

Yeah, I know, that's disappointing. :disappointed:

I wasn't responding to you, if I were I would have quoted you... More so I was responding to hawke21's claim that it should easy to put in, by linking a simple mod that does just that. :P

Yeah, it would be indeed easy to implent, I mean if they REALLY wantd to they could just test the add on and make it official. I know, mind blowing stuff here. >_<

If they did that with my addon, I would sue them. I own the copyright.

Hmmm, actually, if they wanted to put a link on their front-page saying "This add-on is officially recommended by us" with your download link there, I'm not sure there's much that could be done. *shrug* But what do I know.

That would be fine (both ethically and legally). However they could license addons for distribution (basically pay the creators) or just write the code themselves. The Elder Scrolls Online UI is written in LUA, same as Addons are, so some of the features aren't that much work. They already started guild store search by looks of it, it just isn't visible as it's not finished.

I would be willing to bet, if there were an official statement it would read something like this.

We have seen your feedback and recognize that this is a feature that many people are interested in. It has been discussed for possible implementation at a later date, however the current development calendar is filled and it will not likely be implemented in the near future. Please be aware that current development is locked in for the next few months. New development that begins today will not likely be added to the game for at least 6 months.
Side effects of reading messages on forums can cause nausea, head aches, spontaneous fits of rage, urination due to intense laughter, and sometimes the death of your monitor or other object in throwing range. If you find that you are reading forums more than 24 hours a day, please consult your nearest temporal physicist.

You want an official guild store update??? You're talking to the guys who didn't give an official error 209 update. Not sure if they're just swamped with work, but currently there are a ton of official updates that are needed.

Considering guild stores were one of their main features in this game instead of an auction house, yeah, they need to update it. As I said, I wouldn't mind if it took 6 months, as long as it happens. As is right now, the guild store is pretty much useless unless I cave in and get an add on. Which I am not going to do.
