Souvenirs?

I was looking through the achievement list in te journal and saw the collectable section.

What are the Souvenirs they talk about from the different mobs? I've killed plenty of mobs and never picked up a Souvenir from one of them.

not sure about souvenirs but i have found the odd Trophy? is that the same?, i got 1 from completing a quest in Crows Wood in EP, i think its pretty useless so i put mine in bank until i find what they are for

I don't think it's the thropies you get from quests the achievement makes it seem like it's something that drops from monsters still don't know where to get them lol

I don't think it is in game yet. No guild member I know has 'any' achievement in collect-able section. Even tho a large % are V10.

I have been wondering about this myself. I think they are just really rare, and there seems to be one for nearly all types of enemies. they are not the same as quest trophies but may have a similar use like a special emote. i have been hoping to find one since day one as i read through every achievement on my first day.

they remind me of trophy items in LOTRO where say,a wolf had a rare chance to drop... well itself, than you could mount it and put it in your home, perhaps if we get player housing they will be display trophies, along with all our rare fish.

one can only hope at least.

picked up a Souvenir in beta but have yet to find one im wondering if they r even in game still im vr12 with 40+days /played on same toon

I'm almost certain these are not discoverable in game as of yet. No one I have ever asked in-game even knew about them, and no one (that I have been able to find) has looted one according to forums. it's bizarre and maybe just a placeholder? If they intended it to be in game and didn't realize it's borked, then just LOL.

I've never fished in ESO to be honest, maybe you get something like that from that part of the game?
Other than that I can assure there are no collectable souvenirs in form of loot from interactable containers or dead npcs.

Bump; I've been trying to grab souvenirs since beta and have never gotten one. In LIVE currently, even my VR6 (who is a hoarder) hasn't come across any souvenirs.
I've picked up plenty of things with the same names of some souvenirs for quests, but those are never 'ticked' in the achievements window.

Considering this is part of the new dye system, can we get an answer or some help as to where/how we can obtain these souvenirs?

Clearly all of us can't just be 'doing it wrong.'

thinking its something that will be added to the game later on, since nobody in my guilds have gotten any from it.

Yeah, there is no way they are actually in game. I have finished or almost finished all of the 'slayer' achievements on both my VR7 and VR12, and have looted everything I killed. none of them have dropped a single piece of progress to these achievements.

I think the pts update list says something about these dropping from certain baddies.
