School Daze quest is still bugged.....

The part where you have to touch the 4 poles for the guy fishing.

They dont work. Nothing changes on them.

I'm having the same issue. After submitting a ticket, this is the email I received from support:

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online support team!
I understand that you are having difficulty with the quest School Daze and I apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing you during your game time.
This particular quest bug is a known issue, and the team is currently working on a solution. In the meantime, there are a couple of things to try that may resolve this issue:

Type /reloadui in the command line of the Chat Box

Try performing a soft reset: log out of the game and launcher completely for at least 15 minutes. This will reset the character's instance information and may cause quest NPCs to work properly.

Abandon and restart the quest, which also causes quest NPCs and objectives to restart; this generally gets positive results.

Keep your blades sharp, friend!

I haven't tried their recommendations yet, I moved on from the quest since receiving the email. Let me know if this works.

if you have picked up the book for the clues and the pillars can't be interacted with try what they suggested. a guild member was talking about it being bugged today but I told him how to get it to work and I didn't hear back from him. sometimes just reloging (if the pillars work) can fix it.

Just came back from the quest. I abandoned it and tried again. Still no luck this time.

Having a problem interacting with the spheres here.
This is my second time relogging. Figured I would check the forums while I wait to log back in. At least I'm not the only one.

I finally passed it! I was just chilling in the pool and a monster appeared. After I killed it, I passed the test.

I think the trick is that only one person can do it at a time. At least until the mob spawns.

The problem does not appear to be that the totems are not interactable, it actually appears that talking to the NPC does not progress the quest. If you talk to him, he is meant to update the quest so that the book on the bench with the instructions and the totems all get a quest icon over them. this is not happening.
If the devs look into this, the totems work fine and can be interacted with, just they will not change as the npcs are not progressing.

Its not about the order to trigger them, its about the symbol that show on top, it will work once each pillar has the right symbol, no matter the order you set them. I don't want to put spoiler but you can find it in uesp.net.
