How About A "General Discussion" Forum

So much of what goes on here in Support is really general discussion, and not a support issue. How about adding a "General Discussion" forum for these topics. Not "Player Helping Player" or "PvE Content," but just a place for general discussion of the game.

It would cut down on the non-support-related topics in here and maybe make it easier for mods to respond to support topics when necessary.

    YES!

I posted a similar request the other day. How hard can it be to add a category?

If there's a set limit to the number of categories to this forum software, just surrender one of the French ones.

No, see, cuz if you had a General Discussion forum people would just go clog it up with troll-y back-and-forths endlessly. Better to not have that stuff.

What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?

Yeah, it's ridiculously easy to do, and it would make it much easier on the mods dealing with the support forum, where people are right to expect some kind of response at some point. A General Discussion forum doesn't carry any expectation of a response, it's just a place for people to chat incessantly about the game.

They already do that here. Might as well have it in General Discussion and leave this forum a little more streamlined for Support issues only.

I'm sorry, my sarcasm was non-constructive and I should've just said that I agree with you. :)

Please! I was a little surprised we didn't have a general discussion forums but you're right in that this section which should be only for reporting issues.

Personally I would like to see.
    - General Discussion (our random ramblings and musings to each other)
    - Features & Ideas (section for threads about game improvement ideas and feedback)
    - Player Events & Gatherings (sections of in game or out of game events and gatherings)

Ah, well I don't have my sarcasm meter turned on today because I didn't get my coffee this morning and find it best not to engage in sarcasm without appropriate levels of caffeine :)

I would go so far as to say they should add General Discussion AND a forum just for complaining about crap, like are they paying by the subforum?
