Farmers are still out there

This patch did not seem to stop farming, came across a group of them in the Vinedeath instance, they were circled around the mob, and in the 4 tries I tried to hit the mob I only got him once. How did I know they were farming first, there routines seem to be the same, they did not move from the spot, also the name of one of the mobs was gibberish. Yep this patch helped a lot, for legitimate players trying to tag boss mobs.

Another one I saw was the spider queen, one group was using a knockback, to get the queen out of the tag range of other players then used multiple characters to smack it, before I could even target and get something off.

Not sure where they said there was anything in the patch to stop farming ?

If it bothers you report them, and move on. the forums awash with threads about it.

It hasn't been patched. They're working on some sort of timer system but hasn't gone live yet.

Stand exactly in the same spot the boss spawns at. Fire/spam an instant AoE centered on yourself the instant you see red. You'll connect 90% of the time that way.

Note where the spider lands. Go stand there and do the same thing as in the first instance, only this time wait for it to land on you.

There's always a strategy that will get you the tag, if you want it badly enough. If there's a heavy lag, come back another time.

Be careful who you report. Many of those farmers are real people farming the boss for loot. This is perfectly legal according to Zenimax. If you report too many legit players, your account could be the one suspended.

To combat the issue of spawn camping, ZOS may have to make all dungeons/delves instanced to the player or group and have that instance scale in difficulty to the size of the group. It's a shame that it may have to come to that, but it would be better if dungeon diving was fun for all rather than frustrating for most.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with farming, the problem is botting, hacking, etc.

I'm guilty of this on occasion. When I reach certain level tiers, (20, 30, 40, ect) I farm the public dungeon bosses for 30 minutes to an hour depending on their respawn time so I can get a decent amount of soulgems for personal use.
