Ok so i patched the game last night after maintenance ended... I come home from work this morning and I open up Eso... The launcher play button has changed to "Install" I click install and its downloading the game client from scratch... Is this normal? what is going on?

Ulvich✭✭✭✭✭This happened to me today. I downloaded the patch last night. I logged in this morning and played for about three hours. I was disconnected, and when I tried to log back in I find myself downloading the patch again. I already did this once, and was in game after I did it. Mathea✭✭✭Client changed from EU to NA by itself for me, to get rid of "Install" button you just change to your Megaserver back in settings for the correct one.0 -
chris__richardsonb16_ESOSoul Shrivenok so when the button turns to repair after the first repair.... leave it. dont touch it.... the progress bar will start moving again. But it will not show verifying or give a file check.... once that bar moves along the rest of the patch should go. Play button is now active. Maybe that iwll work for you folks also

Lucent✭✭I saw this in an earlier post and it has been working for me. If you go to settings in the upper right hand corner (cog wheel) and change your server to European (EU), apply and close. Close out the version error again, reopen settings and change it back to North American (NA) it will bypass the error and the button will light up with Play instead of Repair. This is how I have been logging on the last 2 days. Good luck and hope this mess is fixed very soon.0
