All Lore Books CAN be acquired !!

One of the Coldharbour official Lore tomes "The Whithering of Delodiil" is only accessible through a one-time-only Fighters Guild quest dungeon, a Dwemer ruin called "Mzeneld". Once you complete this quest (A Dangerous Past quest), you cannot ever reenter this dungeon and acquire this tome. Or can you? Alas, my Tome-Gathering lust is completely gone :(

I know this is slightly off topic (still about lore books), has anyone found a way to view the motif lore books after they have been read? I've print-screened the pages of all I've opened up but the first one because I assumed that they would be located under the journal's lore book section...but I haven't been able to locate them, and they don't show up in the "lore book counter" either. I apologize if this topic has been dealt with already, I just started really visiting the forums today.

Note: The above glitch(es) should definitely be fixed. Tome-Gathering lust should never be quelled!

I would really really like to know if "The Whithering of Delodiil" can be found at any other place than that darned "Mzeneld" dungeon.. anyone?

Or maybe - is there an alternative entrance to Mzeneld dungeon from someplace else?

Hi LadyMamoulian, unfortunately I have to admit to never reading the lorebooks or even paying attention to their names. I am disheartened though to read there's a chance for missing opportunities to getting them all, because I do want to complete my collection  Sorry I can't be of any help. I don't think I've seen this Mzeneld yet, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for it!

Ive noticed while running with friends that when we discover a lore book, sometimes its not there for one of us, but then is found by one of us elsewhere (usually not terribly far from the first). Im thinking you can find it elsewhere.

I found one buried under the corner of a building. I saw it glowing, but couldn't read it.

That does seem a bit harsh to punish players for over looking a book in a once only encounter.

There has got to be a another option for finding what you are missing. If there is inded not, then a ticket needs to be generated to cover this problem.

But the way I see it, if a lore book was created, then obviously somebody created it. And if they created one, there is likely another copy somewhere else. Odds are it is somewhere least expected.

I have found lore books totally randomly - whats really weird is the distribution : my AD and EP are both level 11or 12 and my AD has seen probably 10-15, while my EP has seen <5.

I found one in Black Marsh that was partially under another book. Making it very hard, but not impossible, to pick up.

So my friends I have to say I was wrong and I am sorry for misleading you. After some extra hours of searching I finally did find this book in Coldharbour even though some external sources state otherwise. Its below the huge broken bridge in the NW part of the map, rather hidden, but its there. Its good to know that Tamriel is complete after all :)

    I hate this!

I've seem at least 4 glowing "lore" books trapped under stools and table that I cannot read. Maybe they're not actually real lore books by they are identical :(

Not helping but i did get the lorebook when doing the quest, i myself thought how gamebreaking would it have been if i hadn't seen it at the time. So yeah, Zenimax should either remove the book from there and make it spawn somewhere in Tamriel or make the portal permanent in each of the fighters' guild settlements when you do the zone quest.

Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick, it's a very delicate state of mind.

/bug them when you see them. It's probably not a high priority, but at least then they'll have the information when things calm down.

By the way I do love the Lore of Tamriel. Reading the books and parchments immerses me into the story and the world completely. Stay moist!

Definitely /bug before you do this so it gets fixed. Quit out all the way. Close launcher. Log back in. The book should be fixed for you. If not, try logging out for 5-15 minutes. It does work.
