Can no longer start game after 1.0.3

I right clicked on my Elder Scrolls icon on my desktop to open the game, and noted the patch downloading.

When the patch completed I had another small window stating:-
" Error 209 - PatchManifestError_VersionFail

Unable to determine current version. Please run the
Game Consultant Tool (located under Launcher
Settings -> About) and contact customer support "

Clicking "close", I then saw that instead of "START" I had "REPAIR", so I hit "repair".

Nothing.

So I hunted for this "GameConsultantTool", and after finding it; a small window opened Itlooked promising as there was a button marked, "RUN TESTS". So of course I hit the button. Nothing Happened.

I also saw that at the top of this new window was an option to check for updates, so after nothing had happened with my hitting the "RUN TESTS" button, I tried that.

After a couple of seconds I heard a response and another small window popped up informing me that a new version of Game Consultant is available.

It didn't inform me as to how I was supposed to download this new version or give me any other information at all.

So now I can't play the game at all.

    I tried the Repair button several times after getting those error messages, and it finally started to scan my installation files.

    all of the above... somehow this mess found a way to scan my files, at which point the button changed to "PLAY", but when i hit the "PLAY" button i was told the launcher couldn't determine which version of the game I was running (error 209) and that i should find and use the consultant tool.....

    HAI ZOS, YOU HATE ME FOR HAVING A FAIL BANK THAT DERPED AND YOU PROBS WON'T EVEN REFUND ME FOR? thanks for yet another blemish on what was going to be a perfect game :'(

    I should have sucked it up the whole derped bank eh? cause now i can't even log in ...

    yes i used the consultant tool, all the while hoping it was scanning my computer for botting programs....still living in hope on that front.

    Same issue here. When downloading it also disables my ability to browse any other website (i.e. trying to get to this forum or google for others experiencing this issue.)

    In my experience, repair is not needed and just wastes time. Same with the game consultant.

    If the game has patched, let the Launcher sit for a but and see if "Repair" changes to "Play".
