Dual Wield - Rapid Strikes not working as intended

Rapid strikes increases attack speed like it should when its rank one, but once its rank two and up it does the opposite of whats intended; which is slowing your attacks down instead. I'm wondering if anyone else who uses this ability can confirm this, as it seems using this ability is more of a detriment than something that helps.

i experience a different problem with dual (staff), if i click healing spells or to link damage with the staff... My character is not doing it, it makes a half animation, more like is trying to do it and stops.

I use this ability a lot and it definitely looks like it increases my attack speed. There is a notable difference before I use it and after.

What rank is your ability? Mine was working properly at rank one but stopped working once it got to rank 2

I couldn't tell you exactly as I can't log in right now but it's got to be higher than two. My overall Dual Wield skill is almost 30.

Well I've also talked to others in games and some said its bugged for them as well, so maybe it gets bugged depending on your weapon/perk combination?

Anyone have had it working for them before then stopped working? I'm thinking there could be a perk that makes it buggy, if that's possible.

So I reset my skills, had nothing but just rapid strikes, and it still doesn't work properly. So whatever perks you have doesn't matter I guess. I don't know how it works for selixjm_ESO, if he does have rapid strikes above rank one.

I have this problem aswell, I get a noticeable attack speed slow after using it.

I have this issue too. My rapid strikes does not increase my attack speed at all on subsequent attacks. Neither light, Heavy or skill attacks. My rapid strikes is now rank 4. I remember in the beginning when I first morphed into rapid strikes I was thinking "holy crap, that is fast". But then at some Point the attack speed increase just stopped working. Can not say exactly when it happened but it could very well be when I hit rank 2. Can not confirm this 100%. All I know is that it is now NOT working at all.

Somebody, somewhere said that it might have something to do with "Agility". That when you put your first point into that, Rapid Strikes bug up and makes you slower...instead of faster. Not sure if it's true, but might be, as I remember Rapid Strikes working as intended one day... and not the other.

Can anyone confirm whether or not this skill is fixed or still broken? I stopped using it after my last post and I would not want to waste Points to spec it back unless it is now working.

Alright if anyone else is wondering, I morphed back to rapid strikes this morning and now my attacks are much faster after using the skill instead of slower.

Seems like it is fixed now.

Alright again.. it worked for me for about a day and a half.

Now the attack speed is bugged again.

Unlike before it does not become slower, but the speed increase is not working (so it is not horrible anymore, it just gives me nothing for the Point I spent for morphing it). After I use rapid strikes the attack speed stays the same.

I have bug reported this.
