I thought there was a patch?

I loaded up the patch client and nothing downloaded. Just hit play to log in

    There is a patch and there are a few megabytes to download.

    It took a few minutes for the launcher to wake up and download the patch. It even said "Completed" for a few minutes before suddenly starting a download.

    odd...... mines just letting me hit play right away with no patch download...

    Same. Just got home, and had heard from friends there was a big patch and installer problems, but I was able to just hit play.

    However, when I try to log in, I get either "login timout" or Error 301.

    Login screen says I have the old version still:
    Version: eso.live.1.0.0.964485

    After a few tries to login, I hit "Quit" and now the launcher is patching...

    try restarting the client once or twice. mine just sat there but after I completely closed and restarted it fired up the patch DL instantly. seemed to get stuck doing nothing the first time around.
