Fix for patching error

All you need to do is close your launcher. Wait about 10 seconds and re-launch it and it should patch with no error. No need to hit repair or anything. This fixed it for me and others. A few people did say they had to close their launcher a couple of times for it to patch without the error message. Hope this helps some people

It isn't working for me and I've tried almost ten times. I appreciate your help in the community, but you really should rename your topic "POSSIBLE Fix for Patching Error"

And, not that it helped, I also tried running the launcher under administrative privileges just in case. Oh well.

someone posted in another fix..try this one man :-)

Open your explorer file browser, go to C:/Zenimax Online/game/game client and double click ESO.exe to start the game...
