Launcher not patching?

Either I missed it, or my launcher is screwy. I tried checking for updates, and nothing doing. But I definitely haven't downloaded a patch today, and I'm stuck at "Requesting Login" when I try to sign in to the game.

Anyone else seeing this?

Just try restarting the launcher once or twice if that happens to you. It seems like it just took them a few moments to kick the patch out.

Last patch it did this to me and i had to mess with some files for it to even start the patch - but now i restarted the client a few times and its downloading - i swear I can't just have one solid night of ESO without something like this popping up - either its several times having an access code being sent to my email - patch not downloading - maintenance.... etc.

Pretty much my scenario, went to search for it found your thread.
...then it starts patching ._.

Cannot update, at all. Not manually, no rebooting. No update -- stuck at login "Requesting Login"

Having the same problem as you. I'm not one for bashing Zenimax at all just chiming in to let them know there is an issue.

I continued to exit and restart the launcher several times... after about the 6th time of me doing this the Patch finally started. Hope this helps a little, or if it was just a fluke.

Yea, I have the same problem. Restarted my launcher already but no patching happened...

If you're having trouble like I did with the launcher not patching. Close the launcher, right click and select run as administator. It should open, give it 1 - 2 mins and it will start patching. Hope this helps you guys.

No patching, stuck at requesting login until it times out. Have restarted client several times. Also tried the "check for updates". Seems it works itself out so I'll wait a bit.

I did the repair process and it downloaded the patch. It probably would have happened at random like for some here, but it worked. tho, not without telling me "unable to determine game version", but that was fixed with a simple launcher restart. Currently in game now.
