Why is there so much Wood Elf story/quest areas?

And yes, they tend to be pretty annoying.

Also, seems that Meat Mandate is no longer a rule (even the (new) Faction leader called it old fashioned).

You get to ask a Vinedusk Ranger about that and she pretty much says, "Look, this is war", "Meh, I'm a soldier" and "So you gonna help with those Colovians or not?"

I'm currently in Grahtwood, and I just can't get enough of the environment. It's absolutely breathtaking.
