been trying to appeal my suspension for a week

like the title says its been a week this Tuesday since my account was suspended i have opened tickets, requested call backs, called support on the phone i was asked a few questions to verify who i am etc. but since then nothing has happened.....i am not here to debate the merits of my suspension but simply to ask what the progress is and what i have to do to get re-instated since i have complied completely.

    As much as I'm sure you don't want to hear it your best bet is to contact them directly once again and perhaps delete this topic while you're ahead. If Beth/ZOS is like any other company with an MMO then openly discussing, asking about or complaining about any sort of actions taken against your account will only get you in more hot water and could potentially make them less likely to help you quickly.

    Don't know what you did and to be frank I don't care. However in my own experience with other MMO's generally on a temp ban nine times out of ten it'll stick for whatever amount of time it's suppose to be. 24 hours, 72 hours, a week, ect. It doesn't matter. Usually by the time you've gone through all the channels it'll already be over with.

    Ya not here to discuss the details , just asking support to actually do something about it like contact me etc. I get why they don't want a debate on their policies that is not my intent.

    they had tell you why the suspension?
    is suspension a ban?

    Im in the same situation for the last 48 hours and still have no receive no even a miserable email explaining me the situation and this is quite close to intolerable

    I had see similar cases resolved of people with enough kicking and crying in reddit or the forum and some cases that, lucky them, had receive some kind of random "mercy"

    Probably best i don't get too specific about details but i have received nothing past the initial contact where i was asked for account details.

    I had make those maths
    and I known that if is a temporal suspension by the time the say something the suspension has passed
    but the first problem is that they dont communicate so I dont known if is a temporal suspension or not, or his extension
    the second problem is that I refuse to accept it

    maybe you got experience with suspensions in other games, for me is the first one, out of the blue, injustificable, unfair, because Im absolutely sure of any wrongdoings

    maybe is ok for you to pass some days in "jail"for some unjustificable, random, unfair decision of a system or of a person, maybe even is the wise thing to do in this situation, but is not ok for me

    also it has been my decision to try to get some clues, some official clues, from the forum, to not "overload" the ticket system, but maybe thats the way they like it

    Right now CS is busy with a plethora if tasks and must prioritize their work. While you are of the opinion that your suspension is unsubstantiated, they likely have a different perspective and will likely reply when they are able.

    Contact one of the mods/community people here and ask if they could find out what is going on. All of them have ZOS_ in front of their names. Jessica is one, AlanG is another, for example.

    Did you open a support ticket specifically under the appealing a suspension category? They are normally pretty good at following through, however you have to wait around 24 hours (assuming you didn't break the Terms of Service).

    yep contacted two mods ...called support on the phone. i used the correct category etc.

    One of the mods i messaged did get back to me and explain that perhaps the delay was due to my not following the instructions for appealing a suspension correctly ( its possible ) , well support also got back to me and gave me a ban for using a 3rd party program hack or exploit .....totally false. I am going to appeal my ban and then cancel my account ( assuming its not done automatically with a ban ) , but ya someone else can get my business this is not okay.

    Why not just cancel your account and stop wasting your time? I don't see any benefit to going through the ordeal of appealing and then canceling. The only thing you're doing is posting negative feedback when we don't know if you truly were exploiting the game or not. And you won't share the details... so yea. Good luck either way though :smile:

    I've been through the ticket process once for the error 209 before it got fixed. I've also played many games that don't have a ticket process, at all. Having phone support is even more rare. The forums are definitely a potential place to getting a response from a mod, but when it comes to hack/exploit cases I think Zeni need to be extremely diligent and ensure cheaters/exploiters are swiftly dealt with and innocent players do not get caught in the cross-fire. I have no reason to believe Tuchaka is innocent, if he/she is I feel bad for you. If not though.... well, that's that.

    Don't forget that we just launched, I think any company would expect high volumes of everything, especially support requests, as everyone gets settled in and bugs are squashed. Here's hoping that several months down the road support volumes will be reduced with the greatly reduced in-game bugs. Thus people truly needing support can get it quick :smile:

    Unbolded stuff reply- Totes. I just fall on the side of "what's the point in arguing internet skepticism"? Sure anyone could be a liar, but it kind of shifts the topic to them proving their veracity instead of whatever the OP was about. Of course, all that can be done in this case is wait it out anyhow so meh, whatever.

    BOLDED reply- That was my biggest gripe. I work a Motel in a tourist town. You bulk your staff opening weekend, you bulk your staff on holidays. I expected the same from ZO for launch. C'est la vies! :)

    If you failed to follow instructions for appealing, then you brought any delay to resolving the issue on yourself. ZOS is not to blame for that. Second ZOS is not going to ban for hacks, exploits or use of 3rd party programs without proof of such activities.

    And since the forums is tied to your game account, how can you even be here posting when your account is closed? But anyway something is telling me there is more to it than what you are wanting us to believe, but that is my own opinion.

    Second ZOS is not going to ban for hacks, exploits or use of 3rd party programs without proof of such activities.
    Oh you work for ZOS? So you know there are no technical issues with their banning system and anyone who is banned has been proven to used hacks or exploits? Even the many who have come back saying they have been unbanned due to admitted problems with their filters? Interesting.

    lol, I refunded the entire game for full price on 4.8.14. Your forum account CREATION is linked to your account, but not in any other way. Also, just like in real life, calling a person a liar is considered rude.

    ya i have offered to comply with anything they have asked as per my wishes they did cancel my account , as for proof , ya i used standard mods and mod manager etc. unless they consider my logitech keyboard a hack i am drawing a blank, if people are skeptical of my innocence that is fine but ya as far as i am concerned i got a ban for nothing.

    My hope in appealing the suspension is that they can sharpen their detection methods so this doesn't happen to anyone else, it may be totally in vain and a waste of my time but it won't take much time and if their is a chance it can help i am willing to do that.

    At first I thought it was cause of the motif farming but never realized there was an actual dupe. But the way the boxes/chests close have been in since Beta and Day 1 which never got fixed.

    I don't know anyone that hasn't looted all those things in the bank. In fact, while I am spending all my time transferring items between characters because of the bank bug, I check these every time I am in the bank. This can't possibly be considered an exploit. It has worked like this since first beta. I think it is probably tied to buying or withdrawing items that may have been duped.
