Bloodfiend Spawns for Vamp quest

Are these broken since last fix? Ever since the last patch I have not seen a one.

i have been thinking about that myself. Eu-server hasn't seen any. people tell that there have been many nights with werewolves and then... nothing. i have been looking for them since wednesday last week and nothing. The area does not seem to be instanced on eu server as relogging doesn't change anything.

even though I'm a Vamp, been in The Rift for two nights now and no Vampires. Werewolves yes, Vamps no.

Same; I have seen no spawns for several days now while either checking every night in-game or verifying with numerate others who take up rotations between different life schedules.

It further empowers profiteering each night void of spawns. Even if they spawn, the griefing, trollishly justified by exp farming or RPing, also have a hand in the draw.

Such to the point it's leaving a negative vibe when playing the game in RP settings, since, I would think contracting a bite by now should not have been an issue with constant effort on it for over a week in reality. --- That's subjective I realize, but relevant in effectiveness per time tables we've seen in rotation I think ---

This is getting ridiculous, I have been searching since I came into The Rift and now I am out of it and never saw a bloodfiend. I am not one to complain and I understand rare but if you want to contract vampirism, you should be able to do it by the time you beat that zone.

I am fully confident that they have temporarily been disabled due to grieving and scamming.

This led me to seeking out a decent seller for a bite. I paid a portion before, and after for security and it worked out beautifully. Currently just at lvl 4.

Lvling vamp take quite a while, so I got it when I was lvl 13 on my Nightblade Dark Elf build so lvling up it's too much of a chore. Don't leave it too late, you'll regret it.

My DarkElf is such a nasty *** I love it, not much stands in his way, oh and those fire resists work a treat, mobs throw fire at me all day, don't know what the fuss is about, they die just fine for me .

Well, there is/was a huge deal made about people killing the spawn simply to prevent others from getting it in order to keep selling bites.

I got Vampirism 2 weeks ago, so none of it affects me in any way but I wouldn't be surprised if they disabled the spawns for some reason.

I'm afraid that the ww and vamp system show a complete lack of understanding of player behavior in games like these and it does not bode well for the future of this game.

Having extremely rare spawns that can be killed by griefers and then the abilty to claim to sell the bite and scam people is just heaven for griefers and scammers while honest gamers just get disgusted with the game mechanics and leave the game.

But this is not the only example of a complete and utter lack of understanding of social behavior, the freedom to add scripts is a disaster! The amount of bots swamping the game already, the invisibility and speed script show that the devs is out of touch with reality.

I generally give my bite away as I became a vamp for free (guildie gave it to me) But I am just one person and can only do it 1 time every 7 days

there is already gold selling sites selling bites for ether werewolf or vampire for real money. , this game seems to have gotten out of control with poor concept designed creating a real money gold site style store wet dream, there gold sites for example advertising there sales pre second on there main web page, and I am going guess most people who buy gold use it cause there sick of the lack of inventory space for there crafting goodies.

The other night (can't remember which) there was a big hub bub in my vampire guild about them showing up. They showed up for like 2 or 3 in game nights in a row and a ton of people got bit in all 3 factions.

It was pretty crazy with all the excitement and what-not.

They showed up few days ago, I got lucky and stumbled on them before anyone else and got bit. Some others turned up though and killed them within minutes.

In Reapers March earlier today they spawned as people were moaning bout them being killed by someone again.

It really wasn't the wisest idea to make it possible for people to grief the rare spawns when they (and gold selling sites) have a chance to profit from it.

I've decided I'm giving my bites away for free, but since its only 1 every 7 days I so far have only had chance to make one person happy.

They spawned early in the AM today. Someone went around and killed the spawns though.

If gold seller sites are also selling bites, it makes me wonder if they aren't some of the ones killing the spawns.

I got bit today north of Dune on a level 4. Now I got to do the level 32 quest to finish it off. I'll try it at 10 and see if it is doable. My bites will be given away to guild mates first then to others for free.

We had someone do it at 7 in my guild. It is doable, just don't expect record times or no frustration.

Zenimax should allow for symbol linking to represent lineage to the vampire player that turned the player. This would be a nice small immersion to the vampire lore of the game. Through this others will know what vampire clan you belong to or have been aligned with. It may not impact the game overall, but it still would be a nice touch.
