Thank you ZOS for adding "Report Player" to the chat window and email inbox!!!

I just noticed that you can now report a player directly from the chat window as well as the mail inbox, including a screenshot, if needed.

Already put it to good use!

If you mean right click on player name and choose report then I am sorry to have to report that you have been able to do this from day 1. It isn't anything new.

Yep I have reported countless gold sellers in this way. So basically exactly the same screen appearing if you do right click and report or if you do report player from mail.

Mind you of course that's what my client does. Give the state of the game ATM we could all have random differences there

I just wish they made a bigger deal of no longer being able to report a player from the help screen. If you're right (and I have no reason to doubt you) those of us from beta are used to the help screen being the only way, and now that that's gone...would have been good to know is all.

I take it back, it's not working at all for me. You can't get to it from help, and it doesn't work clicking on their name. It brings up the form, but it's impossible to submit it. It only says "Closing this window will end your chat and close your ticket. Don't close this window until you are done chatting with the agent"

What agent? There is no one to chat with and there is no chat window for the "agent", unless they use the normal chat...which is pointless because if someone is spamming it it's almost impossible to read anything useful. Genius.

Yep I have had that as well. It's yet another random bug. I have had the form appear but have been unable to select anything from the radio buttons (you click but nothing happens) and unable to enter any text.

Oh and the submit button is missing.

Well, they have to cut down on number of tickets being raised somehow.

Oddly enough, this was working a couple of hours ago. Makes you wonder if they flipped the switch and turned off being able to submit spam tickets.

I suppose my email will thank them, since I won't be getting 50-100 emails a day for spam reports now. Also means they won't be getting spam reports to clear out these vermin. I'm for damned sure not waiting forever for an 'agent' to show up each time.

They also need to make it so when you report the player, they automatically get added to your ignore list as well. Then they can't send mail to you ever again.

The only reason I'm not as keen on that idea is we only have 100 ignores. And if ignores function like everything else, once a player is removed/goes inactive they will stay on your ignore list forever. Maybe I'm just overly pessimistic about how many spammers i'll end up reporting?

Obviously they need to bump up the ignore list, there's too many spammers/advertisers for the list to be so small. Also would be handy if the ignore list automatically purged any account names from your ignore list that have been permanently banned.

On my forms there was no submit button either (like on bugs or feedback) but there was a "Send Mail" button on the lower left of the screen, which i thought was odd, but it seemed to work since i got email receipts for my spam submissions.

The whole system needs an overhaul, but at this point i'm just glad i found a way to report those spamming lowlifes.
