I've seen a lot of unconfirmed information regarding Celonron's spawning method.

Is it completely broken? It is just a really long timer?

Doesn't matter.

You can force Celonron to spawn by relogging when nobody else is in the area.



The screenshot was taken at 9:07 PM CST on April 14, NA server.

Notice there is nobody else in the area, and my chat only had one line of text, because I had just relogged.

Not even 20 minutes later, I was booted to character screen and rolled back... Fortunately the roll back was only about 10-15 minutes, so my quest credit was not removed.

C'mon, Zeni. You need more hardware to handle the server stress...

Thanks for the heads up, EU server is full of people "spawncamping" almost every hour though. :P I logged out and in several times only to find more and more players every try.
It really shouldn't work like this anyway, I don't understand why there hasn't been a fix yet.

Heh, yeah. And it's just one of the many quests that remain bugged. >.>

I think there hasn't been a fix because mechanically they are quite hard to fix, unless of course, ZoS is willing to change many of their quest mechanics. Though I feel they should because in all honesty, no MMO for a long time has been making you work so hard on trivial things.

Some design and implementation choices just make you question that who the heck in their studio thought this or that would be good to be implemented like that.

I left the area, relog, going there again, still nothing...

Been trying for several days, waiting 90 minutes last evening, no boss.

Decided to try before heading to work today.

There he was! No one at the scene. Killed the boss and I was done.

Did not kill any of the other mobs in the neighborhood to get my counter past the 0/3. Killing the boss spawned three orbs that automatically counted for me.

Can't even get to an instance where there isn't 20+ people camping for hours.

This should just be removed until fixed honestly.
